My package didn’t come with any seals like I’ve seen in the pictures, like no plastic seal for the tube or the package. Is it still safe to use..?

Same here. They’re allegedly not shrink wrapping anymore, because of the impact the plastics have on the environment. It’s a cause for concern; in addition to the questionable grammar in the box. I put this and the follow-up gel on my face anyway. I’ll be back here to report any negative side effects. Hoping for none!

Is this harsh to the skin in any way?

try it on your jaw line to see. return it right away if you have a reaction. i got this from their website and really messed up my skin, only because they told me their products is fine and i thought it was my skin, so i tried for another 2 weeks with only their products. my skin was so bad that i have to see a doctor and confirmed that 12% is too much for the skin, so dont listen to their customer service, no one is going to say their products have flaws. most ppl feel fine which is why they have the backbone by saying their product is perfectly fine, but listen to your own skin.

Is it normal for it sting after shaving?

Our Niacinamide Serum should not cause stinging after shaving however, we do recommend waiting a few minutes after shaving before application. That being said, if your skin is extremely dry or broken out, any active serum application may initiate this type of response. We do advice to patch test any new product as irritations can occur if you are allergic.

Can this be worn under makeup?

Yes, our serum works well under makeup. For best results, we recommend applying serum and following with moisturizer and SPF before applying makeup.
