Great emergency food for young chicks who got sick
I had 2 older young pigeons who got sick and went off food. Used this food with medication when they went off feed abs they turned around and recovered. Made it into a pudding consistency.

Excellent baby bird formula
This formula was so good for a baby dove I hand raised.

Be careful, the baby dove can aspirate it. But great product.
Baby Dove loves it! Growing fast and strong.

Helped my little one
This is an awful lot of food for someone assisting a single bird. But that little one is catching up to its sibling. The bag should come with long term storage or donation ideas. Better still, a bag of only a few ounces would be nice. We don’t all raise hundreds of birds.

Can be used on fresh hatch squabs!
This product is awesome! Absolutely the best milk replacement food for columbidae!Additionally a must have for any small finch or warbler rehab. High protein content and nutritional benefits not only produce strong healthy squabs but has worked exceptionally well on many species of wild rehabs. Highly recommended!

Update my review
4 days ago I wrote a review on this product. Now new thing happened so I need to make an update. Have anyone heard about melamine infant formula events occurred in China? In order to make the test report showing enough protein in the dry infant powder milk, the manufacturer add melamine in the dry milk powder, and many infants who were fed with the dry milk became very sick. Now I am sure this product, the Rubush squab diet contains something poison like melamine inside. Please see the picture, at the right side box there were two baby pigeons, one died already this morning. The left one I am sure he won't survive tomorrow. And this situation has happened many times. All my baby pigeons fed with this product had died since I received this product January this year 2022. The bigger pigeon at the left box is 3 day older than the one at the right side box, he was fed by his parents for 8 days, in the morning of his 8th day I found his brother (sister?) died outside their nest of losing temperature, so I decided to take him over from his parents. Now I have fed him for 5 days, thank God I didn't fed him with this product. One can compare the pigeons in the two boxes. The one(s) fed with the Rubush squab diet never grow, weak, sick, paralyzed and finally die. Update again on May 1st:Has anyone had used this product? If no one or not yet, please, please, never, never buy it, or if you have bought it, please dump it into a trash can! I don't remember how many of my show king squabs it has killed since I received it from Amazon on January 31. Please see the pictures, at the most left side that big one was not fed by this product, he is just 3 days older than the small one to the right side and he grows normally. The two small ones separately in picture of the center and the picture of the right side are two different ones, the right one died two days ago, the middle one died this morning. Since I used this product to feed my baby pigeons from February this year on, every baby squabs were dead, the most long time who ever lives is the one died this morning- he was hatched on this month April 20th, this little creature just lived for 10 days. Before I always condemn myself: perhaps I set the temperature too high or too low? Perhaps I fed them too much or too little? Perhaps because I added some egg york into this squab diet? But how to explain that I have raised some other squabs before I used this product? After these two squabs hatched on April 19 and 20th, I fed these two little lovely birds with only this product carefully, no other ingredients such as egg york was added, still, they all showed the same syndromes as those ones died in the past-- never growing bigger, skeletal deformities, paralyzed, then die--then I know that the problem is from this product, the Roudybush squab diet! It must contain something harmful or even poison to the birds. I am so sorry for my those dead babies! They are show king pigeons, the most beautiful and largest pigeons in the world. Thank God the big one in the most left side picture was not fed with this product and he escaped the bad luck and can grow normally. He was fed by his parents for 8 days, then I found his brother(sister?) died in the 8th day morning of losing temperature--that one crawled out of their nest bowl and lost his parents' protection, so I took him inside my home and handfed him with cooked grounded pigeon feed. If anyone who has this product, please, please, return it or destroy it before you dump it into a trash can.

Excellent trusted product
Arrived quickly and is a great product for hatchling pigeons and doves. Because of its highly digestiveable nature it’s also a good choice to use a critical care for compromised older birds short term until they are ready for a normal diet .Jodi, state and federally permitted wildlife rehabilitator
