rowing machine
I like the size & portability if rower in small apartment space. It's fairly quiet. So far works as expected although I have not used it on a daily basis yet.

OK Machine Great size Great Price
SUMMARYGet this if:1. You are just starting out and don't want to spend alot of money on something you might not use2. Need something to fit in a small space3. Are on a tight budgetDon't get this if1. You know how to row2. Are looking to get the most out of this work out3. Have plenty of space for equipment and machines4. Have the money to get a nicer machine5. You are tallFULL REVIEWI'll start with it is cheap and you get what you pay for. I picked this one because it's cheap and small, and as a graduate student in a studio apartment I need cheap and small. Over all it meets my needs but falls short I couple cruicial places (see cons below). If you are considering this machine I assume you are new or looking for something small and affordableIn wich case this isn't a bad choice. If you are better practiced, looking for a complete work out, and have the space and money for something nicer, get something nicer.CONS:1. The Computer portion never worked, but it isn't necessary for its over all function. (Its basically just a big pedometer counting strokes and timing you. My watch works just as well.)2. The seast is uncomfortable.3. I am 5'10" and this machine is a little short. I cannot bring the handle all the way to my chest so I lose some of the upper arm and shoulder workout and when my legs are fully extended I just come to the seat stop. 5' 10" is about its max size4. The piston gets very hot. I don't know that this is a problem or very unusual, but it will need sufficient time to cool down before stowing.PROS:1. Small. Great for apartment living will fit under most beds.2. Resistance adjuts easily and can be set very high.3. Cheap if you are on a budget or aren't sure if you will use this is a good place to start.

So far so good
It just arrived today and I put it together in about 5 minutes. If you have you’re own tools, then use them instead of the ones that come with it! They are sufficient if you don’t though.I just used it for the first time and it does what I need it to do. I’m not a rower, but I just want a cardio workout while using the major muscle groups...check! Also, I didn’t want a huge rowing machine that would take up all the room on the floor of my townhouse, so this is a good machine as far as I can tell. The instructions are a bit less than good, but the assembly is almost self explanatory so no worries. So to sum it up. I like it for what it is. I’m 6 foot, about 200 pounds, and it fits me fine, the adjustments let me tune it for the workout I want. It is small so I can put it in a corner when I’m done and we will see how it lasts!

Only machine you need! Durable, easy to use and great exercise!
Bought it because it was simple, relatively small compared to rowing machines and cheap. I use it to supplement my kayaking, but do the rower when weather is bad or in winter. It's a very simple mechanism with a oar handle and a moving seat, just like other rowers, but it does not have the fan/belt system, just and adjustable tension piston. It has variable resistance that lets you go fast for cardio or add more weight to each pull. The seat does slide, but you can use it that way or just use the handle. When sliding with the seat, it is a full body workout that you can do in your own home, watching whatever you want to distract without waiting for gym machine.Relatively easy to assemble. It folds down low profile, but can't exactly be slid under a coach, but left out it doesn't really take up much space. I highly recommend this, especially consider the price for this quality.

I use it daily!
Same basic movement during workout. Definitely worth the price, and beginner friendly. I use it daily. I’m not an athlete or potential rower; so I don’t know about using it for row practice. However it’s been helpful with my hip pain during my weight loss journey. I would have given it 5 stars if the handle bars were 1-2 inches wider.

Very good machine!
I bought this in January and I am loving it. I use it every day, and I am feeling so much more energetic and have more strength in my arms and legs. I am a 65 yr old woman and proud to say I assembled it by myself without any help. Took me about 45 minutes. Wasn’t many instructions, so I used the diagram to go by. It is very well made of steel and sturdy! The only negative I would give it is the seat is very uncomfortable, so I taped a pillow to it! I highly recommend this product! So far no squeaks and it is very quiet!
