Blood-type Lacer without the hassle
i'm used to putting a dog-tag on my left boot when i was in the military. Nothing wrong with the idea but i wanted to see if something out there would stand out more and just give the first responder a better way to read my blood type. Being in the Military and around combat situations it becomes a hassle and or burden to try to see what a certain individual's blood type is during a moment of duress.Yes we do have certain ways of finding out a persons blood type without the whole dog-tag in boot procedure, but to me going with this product and seeing how it quickly shows you your blood type is a winner. Not only is the material strong it also blends in with you already desert colored boots you wear. It comes with two of these and a small sturdy carabiner for other uses you want.overall good little purchase

They are on my boots.
I have these laced into my boots. They've been on there about a year now, and have held up well against sun, mud, rocks, dust, snow, sand, and all the other elements a boot used primarily in the desert and mountains encounters. They are still soft, yet haven't cracked, and are still kicking butt. Other places you could put these would be on your plate carrier or chest rig, your boonie hat, or anywhere you might want to affix your blood type, either as a cool accessory, or functional label. I run body armor and an IFAK at the range, especially when I'm around people I don't know or have never trained with. So these labels go with me too. Because, like I said, you just never know.

Totally going to save my life one day
These patches look and feel nice. I imagine one day I'll be hiking along somewhere and I'll trip and slice open some critical artery somewhere and some kind passerby is going to come by, see me, and notice that I have this little tag sitting on the corner of one side of my bag and pull out the emergency O+ bag he has with him (obviously) and give me a transfusion right there on the side of a mountain. These things probably won't actually save me in an emergency so bad I couldn't just tell someone that I have O+ blood, but they're lightweight and don't add any inconvenience. Plus I feel more awesome in that I know I'm performing activities where I might actually experience blood loss, so there's that.

Great blood type patch but most def not a "lacer" unless your boots are a foot wide.
These are excellent blood types. Due to a wound sustained while I was in the Marine Corps the top half of my heart is synthetic including my ascending aorta. I am on warfarin therapy so injury resulting in blood loss is a very real concern for me.I purchased these to glue them onto hiking boots. They worked perfectly. I sanded the back of them with 400 grit sand paper and used good ol seam grip to glue them on.The tags themselves have lace holes but unless you are bigfoot there is no way that your lacing is wide enough to properly accommodate them. Things I really like that positive is:Written out as POS making it impossible to confuse a mud covered or worn + with -Molding is perfectColor (coyote one) is MilSpec

I worked around it by lacing it in the middle of my boots and it works great and is still visible
Got this to go for with my kit. Works as advertised and as some would say it is a little to big to lace on the bottom most boot lace. I worked around it by lacing it in the middle of my boots and it works great and is still visible. Once I expand my kit and get another set of boots I will look into getting another pair of these. So far I have one on my patrol boots and one on my assault bag. Ditched the cheap clip and opted to tie it down on the molle webbing with 550 chord. Might upgrade to zip ties down the road if need be.

Almost as important as your tourniquet
Not sure why I waited so long to get these. I now sport one on each of my EDC load out vests. Hope I never need it.

Four Stars
Cool idea, but they are quite tricky to make look good while lacing in.

Bien faits
