Sun Visor Clips DIY Fix for Honda Civic 83280-SNA-A01ZA Sagging Drooping

This gadget takes some work to put onto the visor, and then it still provided only a bit of help to keep the visor from flopping down with each bump.Then I got the idea: I got a thin wedge, in this case one of those plastic ones I get at building supply to even up projects, but any kind of wedge would work. It needs a thin edge to slip in behind the clip, then getting to perhaps 1/4", and then I broke off the rest of the wedge outside the clip. That does the job, saves me from having to replace the visor.

It’s a great idea, but unfortunately didn’t work on my visor. I had to shove some toothpicks in the visor along with the clip. And even then, it wouldn’t stay up all the way. I ended up just ordering a new visor. I could see how it probably would work on a lot of other visors though.

It worked and it’s way cheaper than replacing visor. My visor kept falling down which was annoying. So I took off my visor first then made sure the visor closed(rotated the rod thing) and closed it tight then I put on the clasp holder , then reinstalled the visor and it works. I may eventually take my visor to Homedepot and get the 3.99 paint container matched to the color of the visor and paint it so it blends in. Wish it came in grey /same color as my car and if they had them color matched to different makes/models that would be nice. Still I’m a happy camper.

Product did not fit my 2009 Honda Civic EX-L. Will be returning the clip

I have had to purchased 3 or 4 sets of Honda sun visors due to the fact that they are a defective Honda design… I have tried different ways to try and fix the issue and spent money that was a total waste and ineffective until I found this awesome product!!!! It works wonderfully and I will not need to purchase anymore Honda sun visors!! Wish I had found it sooner!! Thanks to whoever designed this clip!!

I replaced the visor on my 2006 Honda Civic back in 2012 as it was breaking at the seam - a known malfunction that Honda has yet to remedy. About a year ago, the visor began breaking again. I ignored it until it was so bad the visor was no longer functional. Fast forward to finding this product and it is EXACTLY what I needed. I ended up ordering one for my passenger visor as well just to prevent future visor breakage. So grateful for this product! My visors both work like new now & I saved $60 on a new visor. Win/win!

Product did not fit. The gap was too narrow and would not fit on the visor. This is in spite of product description stating it would work with my year model visor.

Got it for a 2008 Civic. The drivers side visor just starting to sag so I installed it to prevent it from getting worse. Most damage will occur in the hot summer. So far it appears to keep the plastic from splitting along the seam.
