Puntini Italian Jujubes 1 Pound

What a great surprise these are. I was looking for Jujubes because I loved them as a kid but was bummed out to find that Jujubes are not sold any more. I tried Jujyfruits and they're okay but they really are not the same as Jujubes. On a whim, I decided to give these Puntini Italian Jujubes a try and they're GREAT! If they weren't individually wrapped, I'm pretty sure I'd think they were the original Jujubes although they might be a bit larger than the original Jujubes. Great texture, great assortment of flavors and they seem to be thoroughly fresh. Looks like there are about 300 individual pieces in a one-pound bag so that's pretty great value, too. Definitely satisfy my craving for the original Jujubes!

Ok, these are very good. But.....(there is always a but..) I was looking for a replacement for my discontinued beloved JuJuBees. These are close, but just miss the mark a little. The original JuJuBees had a firmer chew, and these are close but just a little softer than the original. The taste is good, but just a little different from the original. Overall, if you can't find the Original JuJuBees these are a solid replacement but don't expect to be blown away.

Great fruit flavor, not a lot of sugar. If you need something to chew on between meals it’s a great treat.

Wow! These are literally the best things I have eaten in years! I am a texture person and these have the exact texture that I love. They are close to a jujube, but they are more like a very fresh one. They are soft and chewy, but you can suck on them as well. The flavors are amazing and I am truly enjoying them. It is a plus that they are individually wrapped… This way I don’t pop up a bunch in my mouth at one time and I could savor the flavors of them individually. Definitely a chewy type consistency that does not get stuck in your teeth. Love, love, love.

They're tasty but I wish they weren't so tiny.

If you liked JuJubes Candy , these will fit the texture profile. They are very fruity flavored, I enjoy them! Warning, they are a bit addictive to eat! I wish the tropical flavors were sold here too!

I've been enjoying the original eucalyptus Chips for nearly 50 years. For a long time they were quite difficult to find and were being imported by only one company. That company may still be the sole importer but there are now several actual vendors. The price is always about the same tho sometimes there will be discounted special offers. As with most things, it pays to shop around and take advantage of the occasional discounts. The manufacturer now offers a selection of flavors and I've come to prefer the fruity Putini variety, although the cinnamon, eucalyptus and mint versions are probably better as a breath freshener. These are great to have in your pocket or purse for a very low calorie (less than 3) treat throughout the day. They last a long time if you just allow them the slowly melt in your mouth. Save money by purchasing a quantity and storing them in the freezer to preserve the chewy texture. If not stored frozen they will harden and become crunchy over time. In the freezer, they'll stay chewy for over a year and probably indefinitely. It seems like a lot of money for candy but you get so many per pound that each batch will last a very long time. I first had these candies at an Italian restaurant in San Francisco. They sold it in their gift shop area, and I bought a bag. Ate the whole bag myself, and I needed more. Found a bigger bag on Amazon, and though it may be a bit expensive for candy, it's not something I can find around here in Orlando (if it is, lmk, thanks). Shipping was great, and though some of the candy was a little hard, it still tasted awesome. Will order again.
