alnico 5 unoriented bar magnet (2.5 x .5 x .125 inches) for humbucker and P90 pickups, 2 pieces

Rebuilding a guitar for a friend and swapped the ceramic magnets for this in bridge pick up, easy to align and reassemble

I've been playing guitar for over 40 years, and work on them for minor repairs, as necessary. I have replaced complete humbucker pickups but never had done a bar magnetic change. After reading up on the subject, I was comfortable that it was something that I could do. I had humbucker in the bridge position that had an Alnico 3 bar magnet installed (from the manufacturer). It just didn't have that bridge pickup 'bite' that I was looking for in a PAF-style pickup. Made the swap from the Alnico 3 to the unoriented Alnico 5. Wow! What a change. The sound and tone was everything that I was looking for. Now I'm hooked on swapping out the bar magnets to find the right sound that I'm looking for. Great price (much, much cheaper than a new high-end humbucker pickup) and fast delivery. I'll be ordering from these folks again.
