Squirrels in attic. Tired traps, sprays, nothing worked. Gave this a try and WOW! Heard them one time for a maybe 2 minutes about an hour after I put this bad boy in place. It's been 7 days since that noise and not one sound since.

Purchased item to get a squirrel out of the attic. Had the ultrasonic device running for two weeks within 15 feet of where the squirrel was located. Did not work. Finally used recording of hawk predator sounds via a boom box to scare the squirrel. He was gone in two days. Plugged the entry point under a second story deck. No more squirrel.

We have been experiencing Marsh Rats in the attic. They sound worse than they are, but if you don't get rid of them quickly you can have a disaster on your hands. I placed my Diaotec repellent in the attic, turned it on and we have not seen a single dropping or additional tripped trap since. Those pests must really hate this sound. While you can hear it when you go into the attic, you cannot once you close the door. I have ordered a second of these for the other side of the house, and will also purchase one for our country house which experiences field mice in the basement. These are worth their weight in gold!!

Definitely works. I had squirrels that kept coming into my attic at night and making a ruckus. I put this in my attic a few weeks ago and I only heard them once, a night later. My only complaint is that it's not battery operated. I didn't have an outlet in my attic, so I had to run an extension cord. I'll probably buy a 9-V adapter and check it monthly with my AC vent.

We live in a newer home, somehow something got into our attic, I suspect it was a squirrel but not sure. We could hear it/them at night but we’re never able to successfully trap them. I installed one of these in a 2,000 sqft attic and have not heard or seen a trace of them since! Ordered a second one for our camper while it is in storage

I bought this with the hope that it will keep squirrels away from my attic. It had been two days since I have put it in my attic where the activity and noise coming from, so far no noticeable change. i still hear same sound. So, today< I went ahead and called a Pest Management company. I do not think this ultrasonic repeller is able to keep squirrel away.

First, this works far better if you don't just use this by itself, but it will do the job.I threw bags of moth balls in the spaces closest to where the squirrels nested by my attic, then plugged the device in closest to the outer walls. The moth balls will initially deter them, but it will wear off. However, after a couple of months, I heard them start to come back as usual. After two or three days of them running in and out, they finally decided they couldn't tolerate it. They have not been back since last year. As a matter of fact, I haven't even seen them jump to my roof since. Just leave it plugged in and set it to the multi-frequency mode. It is a lot harder for them to get used to variable tones.

Works great on squirrels and mice. Little buggers have been chewing on my apartments flat roof. I had to keep moving the one unit, so I bought a second unit. No scent involved. Don't know what that was about. I just want the rodents to stop chewing during the night while I try to sleep. That has worked.
