Review: Nice Idea, poor execution. - I'm not a huge fan of this product. I love the idea, but the product I received was not executed well. The width of the velcro is nice, but the outside edges of the velcro strips are thin and hard making the edges feel sharp. I suppose the edges being sharp is neither here nor there, because the collar does not get tight enough to muffle crowing. We have a 6 month old EasterEgger Rooster and this collar at its tightest still has enough room to fit my average sized lady thumb, that's definitely enough room between the collar and the rooster to allow him maximum crow capacity. I bought this product hoping that we wouldn't have to make one of our own, but I suppose I'll still have to pinterest the idea and make this myself.🤷‍♀️
Review: Used on my Dark Brahmas 6 months old put them on and after a few days - After a few days the collars were adjusted a little smaller and I would listen to the sound of the crow eventually I got them down to a ER chortle about %85 reduction . The Dark Brahmas are still babies and will mature at 18 months so I will monitor the fit regularly . still way better than %100 . Do not chock your rooster right off the bat take some time and things will work out ... Big ED

**Q: Is it normal for their feathers to be all messy around this collar?**
A: Poofed out over the collar yeah

**Q: Will this fit Silkies?**
A: I also have a Silkie. Put it on him last night and thought it was too tight and he couldn't breath. So. I loosened it a bit. He's started crowing as soon as I let him out this morning. Need to try to tighten it again tonight when he roosts or add a second one.

**Q: Is there a video on how to put on your rooster? So far i have it on him and followed reviews and is not working and he is very upset..**
A: I put 2 on at a time, they aren't wide enough with 1. Put it on snugly-!!! My rooster acted upset the first day but now he's used to it and it works beautifully.

**Q: Can i use this for male Peacock?**
A: I don't know if they will work on a Peacock, but the did NOT work on my rooster.

### ⭐ Nice Idea, poor execution.

I'm not a huge fan of this product. I love the idea, but the product I received was not executed well. The width of the velcro is nice, but the outside edges of the velcro strips are thin and hard making the edges feel sharp. I suppose the edges being sharp is neither here nor there, because the collar does not get tight enough to muffle crowing. We have a 6 month old EasterEgger Rooster and this collar at its tightest still has enough room to fit my average sized lady thumb, that's definitely enough room between the collar and the rooster to allow him maximum crow capacity. I bought this product hoping that we wouldn't have to make one of our own, but I suppose I'll still have to pinterest the idea and make this myself.🤷‍♀️

### ⭐⭐⭐ This particular one does not work for small Bantam roosters.

I tried to modify this to fit my small rooster because we live in city limits. We are not supposed to keep roosters but we love him. Needless to say we tried the crow collar making adjustments so we could use it on a smaller bird. He was not having it. We watched for a period of time and then thought it would be, ok. I checked on him again and he managed to get hid lower beak under it and choked himself out. Luckily, he will be fine. All I can say is its not the sellers fault the collar was too big. Be very very careful you watch the bird to make sure they don't kill themselves getting out of the collar.
