Worth every penny
I used this ink with my monteverde invincia fountain pen and the ink does what the description says. Before each use all you have to do is shake the bottle while seeing the build up in the bottom go away. After that feed the ink cartridge in your fountain pen and let the fun begin.

Made For TWBI Fountain Pen
Update: once the color "settled" in the pen, the ink was this deep green with gold flakes, as advertised, on paper. Didn't bleed through 120 game paper. Note to self, next time make sure ink cartridge is dry before adding new ink. It's such a beautiful color in the bottle and in the product description but in an M nib TWSBI 580 pen, the ink was too watery and takes a couple of seconds to dry. When writing, the color was more bright royal blue than emerald with gold flecks. I'm comparing this ink to the Pilot deep pink in the same pen. There is a noticeable difference in the ease I had writing before where the ink didn't bleed on the page to this ink that bleeds on the page. On the plus side, the bottle and packaging was beautiful.

You need this ink. It won't let you down!
The media could not be loaded. Fabulous ink! I'm new to fountain pens & bottled inks, but I'm SO happy with this ink. It's a beautiful dark turquoise with fantastic gold shimmer. I wish I hadn't waited to song to buy it... but the other reviews convinced me. Let me just say this, if you're on the fence- BUY IT! You won't regret it. It writes silky smooth in my pen, a Noodler's Ahab with a Flex nib.In fact, I like it enough to use it as my everyday ink. Also, I look forward to trying it with a broader nib to bring out more of the gold shimmer. I like that it writes smoothly & dries relatively quickly in my experience. This color is so nice because it's not too shimmery... meaning if your not holding it up to the light, it just looks like a beautiful green.

A beautiful green ink with shimmers of gold
This is a stunning green ink with shimmers of gold.I tend to use a lot of ink colors but often on a marble composition notebook for daily notes and work. In that case, I can't really see the gold shimmers. However, if I'm using a medium-nib pen or a calligraphy pen on a proper quality paper, then I can, and it's beautiful. So, for note-taking, the green is a wonderful deep green. For a Christmas card or proper letter, it's radiant and beautiful. This is a pricier ink, but any full bottle of ink will last you a good long time. I use an ink syringe and refill my pens--I can write a long time before I have to refill the pen. For calligraphy, I put some in a small ink bottle, and it lasts a while, too.Tip: shake this bottle before refilling. The gold flecks settle to the bottom.

Deep teal
I have purchased over a dozen bottles of ink over the past 3 years. This is just about the best purchase ever!! I had seen samples that said it had a red sheen. Mine does not. Just a pure deep teal blue--just gorgeous. J. Herbin inks if anniversary are just the best!

Great ink! After two tries, bought elsewhere due to Amazon stock issues.
Beware that you get the right ink before opening it. I bought this, they sent the wrong ink, I got a replacement, again wrong ink. Now I'm waiting on a refund, which has been 12 days since I dropped both ink's off at Whole Foods. I ended up buying it from JetPens, and got the right ink with in a few days..Now: The ink is beautiful, you really need good paper for it to really shine. Lecturum1917 is pretty decent, Rhodia dot pads are better, but Tomoe River paper is excellent for showing off the sheen. Also found that bright white printer paper does pretty well too! Looks cool in demonstrator pens! Moonman M2 with a broad nib is awesome!

Stunning as always!
J. Herbin never disappoints! By far my favorite inks to use! Deep, rich colors and a sophisticated sparkle. I find them to flow smoothly and consistently, regardless of pen or nib. I will say, a broad or 'music' or bent nib are my favorites with this ink, since it allows for more of the metallic flecks to flow onto the page. Paper type and writing style will obviously have an effect on how "glittery" the end result is. As has been noted with other reviews, and not necessarily a bad thing, Cornaline d'Egypte is on the more subtle side. Still beautiful and well worth the price, in my opinion, just less flashy. The anniversary collections are the epitome of what great ink is!
