product was packaged nice and had no defects .was easy 5 min install .was able to mount 35 in tire no problem .welds looked good and seems to be very strong and light weight . i would recommend this if you need to install a bigger tire or just want a little more clearance .it was mounted on a jeep 2002 tj x and looks nice tires are 35 1250 so a lot bigger then oems there is a paper directions in package for stud locations for rim size .check your rim pattern first to make sure which hole to use .

Spacer does exactly as needed. The studs are 3/4" too long and, like others have stated, the studs could turn in the hole when trying to remove the spare. I had to cut down the studs and then I tack welded each stud so it won't turn while romoving (which could be a real problem on the trail).The reason for 5 stars is it's US made and due to quick responses by the company to my issues and they offered a refund if I had any problems. So 4 stars for the product and 5 stars overall.

First off this product is very heavy duty! Very easy to understand instructions and best of all if you have done like me and added newer wheels to an older jeep (1997 TJ) this will allow you to add the right spare without having to modify the original spare carrier!I did have the issue with a stud that spun so I contacted the manufacturer via their website and they asked for a screen shot of my order and a pic of the stud. Within 30 min I got a phone call from them and they had a replacement to me in two days!So far I have been extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend it not only for the product but because of the customer service after the sale.

The build is quality. Cranking the bolts into the piece was work and took some creativity without a breaker bar. Some form of leverage is needed. Why not prefit them? Because you want want the smallest packaging possible. There is some obstruction of the center brake light with a TJ.

If you need an extension on your tire carrier after changing rims this will work great. Built solid and good welds. Easily bolts into place using existing studs. Great value for the money. Doesn’t affect how the top come off your Jeep.

Went to install and the 1st stud I tried to install stripped and wasn’t even seated yet. Terrible quality. Do not buy. Bought in Jan, just warmed up enough to install and the return window is closed. Waste of money.

Studs do not fit snug. Need to be welded in place and then, still does not align exact

Initially had problems with lug nuts getting stuck on studs. Turns out it was my cheap locking lug nuts. Replaced stud and got new lug nuts. Worked exactly as I need to space tire out and was easy to install.
