My reels , spinning/bait caster, were in need of a cleanup . Used simple green for the clean and bought these for the oil/grease. The syringe style application works great and puts it where you want it. Good product

I used other Extant Labs products like Echo Two Five on my AR, S&W Shield and even an old M1 Garand, so when I saw this Reel Care also made by Extant Labs, I assumed it must be a great product too. I was right. Not only does it work great on my newest Shimano and Lew's bait cast reels, it also works perfect on my 30 year old Daiwa Spinning reels. Then I pulled out some crusty old salt water level wind reels that belonged to my grandfather and must be 60~70 years old. Reel Care breathed new life into those reels too.After lubing the reels on my garage workbench, I decided to try Reel Defense on my irritatingly noisy Genie screw drive garage door opener because every other lube I have used on it didn't last or was disgustingly messy. This stuff worked better than anything else and it didn't drip any goop on the garage floor either.

After hrs of Online research came across Extant Labs Reel Care Combo. My Okuma Ceymar was taken apart to remove Factory Lube . Reel Defense Grease was put on all gears , Starcaster oil on all bearings. Reassembled & Tossed into the freezer. You can see frost on Reel after Taking it out. Plunger President XT next to same process But used A Competitor Brand. Extant Labs Reel Care Combo really outperformed the Competition!! I’ve been on the Hardwater for Over 44 seasons ❄️❄️. Wow, as a gun guy, and a knife guy, I knew these guys were top notch in those lines...my fishing is restricted to something to haul in my sub 4” catches so the ole zebco 404 was lubed and loves it! Then I gave the other 99.9% to a friend who really knows his fishing equipment and he flipped out! The reel defense is amazing and the starcaster bearing oil is silky smooth in his baitcasting reel. I’ll update and let you know if my average haul increases but I’m sure the smoothness of my friends reel and the added protection will be much appreciated!

I use the oil for the bearings in my reel, and the grease for the worm gear and other gears. This works as well as any other I have used in the past.

This product is AMAZING!!!!! The syringe is easy to use with a gentle touch. You get plenty of product for the money and it last a long time. I fish all conditions from -20 in MN to 100 degree days in FL and I have not been let down.

I love this kit. I can control it to the point where I can squeeze out a tiny little drop right where I want it.Works great,Highly recommended.

I kayak fish a good deal and mostly in salt water. I run 2 rods and they are constantly splashed and being hit by waves. This product keeps my reels spinning smooth. The syringe applicator also helps product apply easily and minimizes waste. Best product I have used to date. VERY pleased.
