DTS PlayFi is Worthless
I bought two 6000N Players and could not be happier with the sound, build, and simplicity of the unit. I would give it the highest recommendation. The DTS PlayFi software is the most bugged, user unfriendly, and useless streaming software I have ever used. It simply does not work most of the time. I am torn between returning the units during my return period because of this issue. I have fiber optic internet and Netgear Orbi 960 Series Router/Satellites so it has nothing to do with latency or poor internet/network on my end. I am also a moderate audiophile owning lots of equipment for many years and feel if I cannot get it to work no one could. I tried upgrading to DTS HD hoping that would clear up the issues, did nothing. It is horrible software.

Better options out there, but updates fixed major glitch and now a very good product.
Really not a great product. just too many glitches and issues to be worth even the discounted price. To be honest, I will replace it. Drop outs, lags, streaming services wont play on it. Sound quality is good, IF it works, which is not consistent. I wanted to love it, but its really a poor product.Update: ** So my initial review needs to be updated. It was a frustrating product with the lags, spotify not playing, etc. But update about a month ago fixed those issues pretty much 97%. It was like a gift from heaven and hopefully it was because people were complaining of issues. The app was flawed, not the unit. the update to the app, now allows spotify to stream perfectly and almost no dropouts. (its internet, cant eliminate them 100%) So I will keep this unit and now feel it was a bargain with the fix put into place. The sound quality is very good , still no complaints about that. Good detail and gives a glimpse of the High End. Gotta give credit when its due. Thank you for the update, fixed my issues. :)

Incredible sound over Bluetooth.
First off this is a great network streamer that is of very high end quality. Reading the reviews here one might not think so, but if you read them carefully you'll see that all of the issues can be attributed to user error or just not taking the time to figure out the application.Amazon music can in fact be used through this device if you take the time to figure it out. My guess is most people expect to plug it and and play music with no configuration. That's just not the case for most anything working over a network or using software. The sound through this is simply amazing and well worth the minimal effort to configure it. I went from a Auris BlueMe HD device to this and would never even think of going back. WiFi gives a much more detailed clear open sound stage than Bluetooth, and can support lossless audio. Bluetooth cannot even using AptX.I didn't think my system could sound much better, I was wrong. This thing is simply amazing and simple to use. DTS PlayFi has been around for years and seems to work fine for most people. I've been using it for years myself with my Klipsch Bluetooth speakers around the house. This is a much better deal than the Cambridge unit, and it matches my silver Cambridge CD player. Lunar gray just doesn't do it for me. And at a third of the cost of the Cambridge. Try it, if you don't like it there are free returns on this.

High-End Sound For An Affordable Price
A very nice streaming music player that produces exceptional sound for the price. I have it joined to a Peachtree Audio Nova-Pre and the accompanying Power Amplifier. Using the Coaxial Audio jack it produces a rich and full sound. It makes no difference what genre of music I choose it provides a pleasing and enjoyable listen. Set-Up is relatively easy using the Play-Fi app. Once you find the Wi-Fi signal using the settings in your tablet or phone and connect it to your network the rest is super easy. Listening to Jack Jezzro's Brazillan Nights via Amazon HD you can appreciate the clarity and detail in the music presentation. It is a very musical streamer capable of providing many enjoyable hours of entertainment.

Not worth the money, too many bugs.
If you subscribe to Amazon Music HD this does not work very well. Don’t know how well it works with other services. The Play Fi software used to operate it has more bugs in it than a florida swamp. The shuffle feature does not work, you can’t add songs to a playlist and when streaming 24 bit 192 khz music it constantly hangs up. Ok, you might think I have a slow wifi connection but this is not the case. I get 300 to 400 mbps where I have this setup. Also I have a laptop hooked to a DAC in the same spot using the same wifi connection that plays 24 bit 192 khz sampling tracks flawlessly. So the problem is either with the 6000n or the Play Fi software used. So definitely not worth the money. Better off just using a laptop with a good DAC and save yourself a lot of money.

The Simplicity...
I am impressed with the build quality and the simple software that operates the Unit. The App is called DTS-FI and it works by showing you all the operation of the unit, the Network stations are displayed in full color and the Artists also. The product is well built and the quality is extremely high. the unit has the ability to play on both 115v and 240v.Amazing.The Sound.. clean warm and punchy, you hear the music strings for Jazz or Rock very clear. The Music that comes with each station is universal clear and so punchy when hooked up to a sub..How can I described the Unit in terms of how to operate it...simple very simple. awesome !!

No es tan malo como se dice...
The media could not be loaded.
