Vary nice limb
THe part arrived very quickly about 4 days in all. The chipping problems others documented were nowhere to be seen and considering i have 8 limbs for various projects this looks as good as the SAS limbe i have. I have 4 part i got to use in a dual been custom project and those all were the same price and did have the chipping. I can say with confidence my part is perfect could not be more satisfied. What is more interesting the limb is not warped or twisted as my others were.

This is the replacement prod for those pistol crossbows. ...
This is the replacement prod for those pistol crossbows. I bought two and made a pair of wooden "pistol" crossbows using these because of the size and cost. Inexpensive and effective. Be sure to purchase an appropriate string for these as they do not come with one. Everything else I made.

Good limb, some problems
The quality of bow when I received looked good and the tips had packaging bubbles which was good. The limb was not damaged and basically everything seemed well. The length of the limb was the same was the one that comes with the Cobra Pistol Crossbow. Here is were the problems appeared though. 1st. The limb is slightly thicker than the original limb that came with the pistol crossbow. This made it a bit difficult to place in the rubber pads and metal piece in because the bow would push up since it was thicker. You have to push the limb down so that you can place the pads in. After placing though and screwing in the screw everything was fine. 2nd. The tips made it difficult to place in the plastic tips the came with the Cobra pistol crossbow. You had do push in extremely hard, the tips on the limb where differently shaped so it made placing the tips in hard. 3rd. The paint quality is poor, cracking of the paint will occur as it did with mine. Also it's sort of scary because when you are bending the limb to string the crossbow it makes a cracking sound...yikes! Overall it's a good limb with superficial problems, it performs great and it produces less vibration and recoil than my previous limb. A must buy for the Cobra Pistol Crossbow.

Great bow even better customer service
I ordered two of these bows, one was great. Replaced the old bow, strung it with the help of a friend, waxed it up and shot about 50 bolts at the target and dialed the red dot back in.The other started cracking when we attempted to string it.I contacted the seller explained what happened along with a picture and the seller sent a replacement that same day. I got it in and had it attached, strung up, waxed and shot another 50 bolts with it. Worked like a charm without issue.I really appreciated the fast response from the seller. There may have been a bad batch or something after browsing some of the other reviews with the cracking, but the two that I have now are working great. I'd definitely purchase another without question.

The bow limb is the same as all the others like it, just a different stamp
Just received this and I was surprised to see "MK80-B" stamped on it. The bow limb is the same as all the others like it, just a different stamp. The coating is good but the ends are not quite symmetrical. Just be sure to seat the end caps correctly or they will shatter the first time it's fired. Smacking on the ends doesn't mean it's seated properly. I use JB Weld to secure my end caps. That way any gaps, due to imperfections with the limb ends, are filled. I have 4 - 80lb pistol crossbows that have never had an end cap break for over 3 years now. Tip : I have purchased extra strings before and they never seem to be the same length. They vary from 17 inches to 17 1/2 inches. The shorter the string the harder it is to string the bow. I make my own strings at 17 3/4 inches. It's easier to string the bow and it increases the power stroke. Performance is unaffected.

Breaks way to easy
For the price its all good, now if you own a pistol crossbow, youll know that they are very good for target shooting and small game hunting and the ammo is only pennies a shot, But i bought the 80 Lbs Self-Cocking Crossbow Pistol And it is very good and easy to use, but i know that all crossbow pistols require the bow in order to shoot, so i bought these. Well, not only will the tips be separate from the bow when you recieve them, they also must be superglued onto the bow because they do not fit. And thats just sad, also to note that they do not Last very long. They begin to crack after around 50 shots, so thats poor quality. As long as you dont tighten them too much i would say they'd last 70 shots, but metal ones tend to last almost 250 shots, if its good quality. Now its to my opinion that buying a Crossbow pistol is a good idea if your overrun by rats, Cause who can beat a sharp tipped bolt going 250-300 FPS with 80 lbs of force behind it? I know i cant, but that too depends on the Draw weight. a 50 lbs crossbow pistol is the equivilent to a 50 lbs compound bow in draw weight. same for 80 lbs. There was an old empty turtle shell i used for target practice and i guess it belonged to a dead turtle, Because they obviously dont leave their shells like hermit crabs do, and i shot the shell and it punched throught it and out the back. now thats power.
