Ho acquistato questo USB Drive Criptato per sostituire uno che possedevo e che non era dotato di tastiera.La qualità costruttiva è altissima. Tutto il corpo dello USB Drive è in alluminio molto solido.I tasti in gomma sono di qualità elevata e questo mi fa pensare ad una lunga durata nel tempo.Tutta la programmazione del drive si effettua tramite i tasti ed è spiegata molto bene nel manuale disponibile in diverse lingue.Questo USB drive è dotato di batteria interna che permette di sbloccarlo prima di inserirlo nella porta USB del PC.La velocità di trasferimento è molto elevata infatti supporta lo standard USB 3.Uitlizzo questo USB drive in combinazione con PortableApps così posso avere le app che uso maggiormente installate nello USB driver.L'applicazione che uso maggiormente è KeePass per custodire tutte le mie password e chiavi pubbliche che utilizzo per collegarmi tramite SSH ai miei server.Una caratteristicha che apprezzo molto è la possibilità di utilizzare lo USB Driver anche con le macchine virtuali.Infatti normalmente, appena il drive USB viene rimosso da Windows (senza rimuove fisicamente il drive USB) il drive USB si blocca. Questo meccanismo di sicurezza ne impedisce l'utilizzo con le macchine virtuali perchè, quando il drive usb viene connesso alla macchina virtuale viene ri-enumerato e questo provoca il blocco dell'unità.Fortunatamente è possibile disabilitare questa funzione ed il drive USB potrà essere utilizzato anche con macchine virtuali.Un'altra caratteristica positiva è che il drive USB può essere utilizzato con tutti i dispositivi che sono in grado di leggere drive USB (PC Windows/Linux/Mac, Android). Infatti, grazie al tastierino e alla batteria, il drive viene sbloccato prima dell'inserimento nel dispositivo host e viene visto da quest'ultimo come un comune drive USB.Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, il tappo del drive USB non mi ha entusiasmato. Il corpo del tappo è in alluminio come il drive USB ma vi sono state applicate, alle estremità, delle guarnizioni in gomma. Spero che queste guarnizioni rimangano incollate nel tempo.Nel complesso un ottimo prodotto e ne sono molto soddisfatto.

As a security Consultant, I was looking for a secure storage device that meets or is equivalent to government standard and this fits the bill.Easy to use and set up and with an inbuilt automatic data destruction it was just what I need. So if its lost or stolen it will automatically lock if the correct sequences of numbers is not entered and will basically self destruct all the contents beyond recovery if the recovery code isn't entered.
