This kit came with everything I needed. I did use my own drywall punch saw though. But the template foam was easy as it could be to use. I cut the hole applied the spackling and spread out just like the instruction directed. With the second application of spackling, it looked amazing. the last picture was before I sanded it smooth. I haven't finished the project yet, but the hole is now more. I did watch the video online. That was a big help. Great product that works great.

The putty knife is not large enough to make skim coating a 4" patch easy enough for a novice DIY'er. The patch is much bigger than the knife making it difficult to get a streak free finish. DIY'ers should be prepared to learn how to use the sandpaper block expertly if you want a smooth finish. This is much easier said than done.

Easy to apply for a first time user. Worked perfectly. Would recommend to anyone that is not normally a DIY type person but wants to save a few hundred dollars.
