PARAMED Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor Cuff

This monitor is compact and easy to use.The case and battery are included so you can use it right away out of the box.I think it would be convenient to carry this for anyone who is frequently travel.It can easily fit in luggage.The screen and number are easy to read. Besides, it is extremely lightweight, the downside it is mostly made of plastic. It is prone to break if dropped.I like it so far. Accuracy is still questionable. I measured 3 times, I got 3 slightly different results.I would recommend you should repeat at least 3 times to get average.The price is comparable and competitive to other brand. This brand mostly made equipment for medical use so I think it would be above average for quality.

Being a male in my late 60s, correctly attaching a BP cuff on my arm seems impossible. When I try my best, I get more error messages than readings. Having hypertension and heart failure, my cardiologist wants me to monitor my blood pressure several times every day and keep a record. As far as an Accuracy rating, I was assured that isn't important whether the monitor is as accurate as a physician, nurse or trained tech can achieve in the office, as looking for the normal daily reading fluctuation. I understand it's like the dash gauges in a motor vehicle that monitors temperature, pressures and fuel. We don't need to know exactly what the gauge measures, as much as noticing when the reading is not in the "normal" and adding fuel, oil or calling an expert. For this reason, I only gave 4-stars for Accuracy. I'll get the accurate readings in the doctor's office. The rest is 5-stars. This monitor is easy for me to use, has a bright display with large fonts, common sense placement of buttons and after using home monitors for 40+ years, this is the absolute best one that I've found and used. It is very inexpensive on Amazon, comes in a hard plastic case to protect it, has very informative booklet and has clear written and visual instructions. I recommend it to family members, friends and neighbors. Thank you Paramed!

The first unit I received were damaged in shipment.The second unit arrived with in a few days after I reported that the first unit was damaged in shipment. It was packaged in the same type of padded envelope as the first unit was but this time there was no apparent damage.When received, I inspected the unit for any damage, there was none. I inserted the 2 AA batteries turned the unit on to insure that it was working. Then I placed it on my left wrist according to the instructions. I turned the unit on and let it cycle. It appeared to work OK, a pressure was recorded. It was very easy to use, display clear and easily read, remained on for a reasonable time then shut off. The instructions were concise, informative, and easily understood.

I purchased this wrist monitor for home use.. to track my blood pressure throughout the day as my medications were being adjusted. The package arrived quickly and was packaged well. Instructions for use were clear, concise and easy to follow. The unit itself seems well made. The screen is very easy to read, unit is very easy to operate. It appears to be very accurate as well although I have not yet compared the readings with those given by my traditional forearm measuring unit. I liked the carrying /storage case that was supplied with the unit.. the manufacturer even supplied batteries! so it was ready to be used right out of the box. I recommend this unit highly.

The item arrived on time, and I think the cost for the monitor is reasonable.I like the simplicity and the display outline; easy to read.Consulted with a friend of mine who is a paramedic, and he stated that it looks good and functions for its intended purpose, though it is not of a "professional" grade. Still, for in house, and convenience, it is a good device.The only gripe I have with this item is the compartment for the batteries. At least in mine, it is a bit off and I had to do some "rearranging" for the batteries to sit in properly; however, it worked just fine.

I have had wrist cuffs for over 30 years. They have all been close enough to the Doctor's to be reliable for home use.I bought this for my 88 year old friend. I am amazed by how fast this pumps up, releases and gives an accurate reading. I will buy one for myself to replace my older, MUCH slower wrist cuff.Having the reading history is important as well since my friend can't remember where he put the past readings.I don't know yet how the battery life will be. Setting the time and date is simple; perhaps not for my 88 year old friend. But he can put the cuff on and operate it by himself. The large display makes it easy for him to read.

It is easy to use great big bright screen ,easy to set the day date after reading the instructions.Hope its accurate ,because its giving me nice readings . Will take it to the DR's office when I go next week and check it against his .If the cuff is accurate then then it will get 5 STARS. so far . Great

Paramed brand model PG=800A11 is Light weight, Big screen with large numbers to display and easy to use. The cuff seems to work well with me and my family over the holiday I was able to have some family members try and most said it accurate. The wrist digital blood pressure monitor comes in a plastic case. I do not think the plastic case will last long. I would like to see the plastic case have a strap or handle of some type. A few features are that it can hold 90 memories that can have the year day and time the Blood Pressure been taken. This model has a irregular heartbeat dentition looks like it suggested by Parentheses. This model has two unites of pressure the default is mmHg. The unit will turn off automatically in case you do not shut the monitor off.
