Works perfectly for dive-only if you remove the spring and re-adjust the thumb screws!
I wasn't completely satisfied when I set this up as intended then saw the below review and followed what Nick did by removing the spring. The bridge didn't always return to zero and I still had issues with the D Tuna after installation. If I'm being honest, it was a royal PITA to setup as intended trying to get the bridge totally flat with body AND trying to achieve the needed amount of reverse spring tension to keep the bridge at zero. I'm VERY happy with it now and will absolutely do this again if I ever buy another one of these but understand this also makes it impossible to pull up on the bar, which is what I wanted: Check out Nick's Amazon review here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R10KY23E23MVVV/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8 Had major setup issues on a used Wolfgang that I recently bought so thought I'd try this. Removing the spring and tightening the thumb screws as shown in the above review worked perfectly. I highly recommend doing this if you don't care about pulling up on the bar. Yes you can buy the other version of a trem stop but what's nice about this style is everything is thumb-adjustable without the need for any tools. Plus, this comes with the felt pad to silence the 'knock' you'll otherwise hear when the bar returns to zero. Finally, ensure you pre-drill screw holes with a small drill bit. These screws are very tiny and too weak to self-tap into the wood

The Missing Ingredient
This device took my PRS SE Santana from being "really good" into being GREAT . Sustain is much improved, and double-stop bends are spot on. The spongy picking action that I always encounter with floating tremolos now feels solid like a fixed bridge. I may have been lucky, but I was able to dial this thing in pretty quickly after following the installation instructions from a similar product (refer to another recent review for the link). I have no problem with the increased spring tension. Totally recommended for anyone who wants their floating trem to feel like a fixed bridge.

Works great
Works great . Easy install. Keeps bridge level and non floating. Rubber pad makes it quiet with no noise . Screw heads are cheap and easy to strip so make sure you drill the hole first.

Totally transformed my PRS! So stable now!
I was really frustrated with my tremelo and wishing I'd just bought a hard-tail. This totally solves my issues. It returns to perfect tune now, and all the strings stay in tune when I swap to a drop tuning. Best of both worlds for really cheap. Installs in 15-20 minutes with no special skills.

It does what I want
Floyd Rose trems are very touchy when floating. If you tilt the guitar forward or backward, it will go out of tune with with the help of gravity. With the stabilizer on, I can kick back on the couch with my guitar laying in any position I want and it stays in tune while still being able to pull up. I expected it to have more tension, but it works.

Solves the drifting tuning problems on tremelos and non locking nuts.
I have a PRS custom 24 E that was constantly going out of tune. Don't mention trying do alternate tunings-it would take at least 5 minutes and multiple passes before I ibstalled thisstabalizer. Now I can go from 440 to open D with just 2 passes. Awesome. I can still use my tremelo too.

Life Saving Device
I used this on a Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder with a Floyd Rose. This device doesn't come with instructions and the website doesn't have instructions, so I deducted a star. I found instructions online for the Goldö Black Box, which is essentially the same product. You can find that at: https://joe.emenaker.com/TremStabilizers/BackBoxInstallation.html Skip down to installation if you know how to float a trem. It still took a few tries to get it to work to my satisfaction. One of the ways to keep it balanced is to screw it down to the body just a few millimeters away from the trem block. Once you put slight tension on the Trem Endus spring, you can unscrew the bullet end a little until it touches the block. This gives you some wiggle room to screw the bullet back in if adding tension pushes it forward to the block. You can see if this happens on the tuner if your strings go sharp. Then screw it back in until the strings are back in tune. It's better this way than to have the level of the Floyd screwed up. My wasted time is your benefit. Also, set the guitar aside for a day before clamping the nut. It's going to be adjust in the meantime. When it's time to tune and clamp, have your fine tuners 80% out. You're likely going to screw down more often than up. Once set, it's incredibly solid. I love it. You can whammy down to Australia and then in yank up to North Canada without going out of tune. I love big bends. This was a lifesaver in that regard. Repeatedly going to town with bends or bar use is likely to put it a little out of tune, but you can get through a song like that. I love it.

Excelente

Horrible!, not worth the trade offs for super marginal gains
I have setup per instructions, and per several YouTube videos. You are supposed to tune normally and ensure your floating bridge it parallel to the body, then install the stabilizer, then screw in your spring claw to counteract the tension added by the stabilizer spring while using the adjustments to fine tune the stabilizer. OK, that's easy enough, however, the amount of normal spring tension required to counteract is excessive to prevent the bridge moving during bends. Then the is the "click". The little ball end of the stabilizer causes a click, even with the sticky pad placed on the trem block properly. This click is your zero position. It makes its way through your pickups and is heard on recording, but even that aside, the feel is horrible! Then there is the adjustment wheels. They do not offer proper adjustment for several reasons. The stabilizer spring load wheel just turns the threaded rod which will either inadvertently adjust the position adjustment wheel and/or the barrel on the end that is threaded on the rod. I tried adding blue Loctite, I tried removing and pre-adjusting, it just doesn't offer any practical adjustment. Then given the amount of normal spring tension required to pull the bridge back on the stabilizer required excessive stabilizer spring pre-load which cant be done because the adjustment wheel hits the and of the spring wire that is wound the wrong way. Basically it gouges the adjustment when trying to preload. There is just so much wrong with this thing it is NOT worth the trade offs for a super super small marginal gain in preventing slight bridge movement and/or detuning such as drop tunings. I can’t believe Floyd Rose has their name on this trash. Unfortunately, I can’t return it because I stripped the install screws due to several un-install-reinstall, and then I marred the adjustment nuts with pliers trying to adjust, which included gashing the body plate.

Estabilizador
Un dispositivo bueno aún que el resorte es muy rígido y la rosca del tornillo más delgado a comparación del ESP pero es funcional!!
