Hexagonal and Double Ended Nib Holder

I’ve used this nib holder for years. Although it is ink-stained, it’s held up well. I like the hexagonal shape because it firmly keeps my fingers, and consequently my nib angle, in the correct place. It’s comfortable, and I prefer it to any other option.As for those who have trouble with nibs fitting, it’s true you won’t have success if you are using nibs designed for an oblique pen-holder. So if you are doing script, or Spencerian, you’ll need a different holder. Or if you are using a crow quill, that’ll be different, too.I use Speedball and Brause nibs in my hexagonal holder. Never have a problem with fit.

i love the feel in my hand, i wrapped some tape around the ends for grip. SUPER light weight. hard to go back to a regular holder. I'd been looking for something lightweight, durable, and would hold more than 1 nib. It's perfect.

This is an elegantly simple inexpensive nib holder that holds smaller nibs like the Brause #66. It is simply a piece of long-grained wood with six sides. One side is wider than the others so that it is stable when you lay it down and comfortable in the hand. You can stick a nib in both ends. But all my nibs live point-up in a container so I use only one nib in mine. And at its modest price, you can afford to just try it. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Bof. Débutante avec cet instrument j'ai pris le moins cher, mais on ne peut pas le régler et en fait ce n'est pas facile à manipuler. J'ai appris depuis qu'il faut un porte plume de meilleure qualité pour un bon résultat.
