I don't usually buy stuff like this, but it looks manly, which was why I got it! The metal and the leaves are quite bendable and you can adjust the fit with your hands. I was surprised with the size of it, but the fit was perfect, especially because I have a large head and it's very disproportionate, so the chain for me was not necessary (which I removed) as the crown stayed on top of my head with little discomfort. The fit might be hit or miss for some people, but, in this case, my large noggin was the Cinderella slipper. This crown is very versatile too, If you are gentle and bend the metal in certain ways, you could wear this in many creative ways, like a necklace. For musclemen wanting to be a Sun God, you can even buy two of these, bend the leaves so they don't cut the skin, and wrap them around your bulging biceps just because it's such a pretty hefty piece for a costume. Satisfied with this purchase. I did notice some gold dust that rubbed on my forehead, but hey, made in China, so a quick wipe of a towel is suggested before trying it on.

I love Roman history and this is the crown (teehee) of my yoga costume. It's firm enough metal to last but thin enough to bend to fit. Not only that but it has an adjustable chain in the back for sizing. Now keep in mind that I have a massive head, both literally and figuratively. When Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich want to feel like they have small heads they should take pictures with me. One size fits all hats don' t fit me. YET! My head doesn't even use the entire adjustment chain.It's beautiful, well made, and will fit even big guys. If you are tiny, sorry, engineering may be needed.

As mentioned by someone else, the metal does tend to bite into your head. This can easily be fixed by gluing on foam on the inside or like me, shift/bend the leaves so that it sits on my hair and not dig into my skin. The package was in the padded yellow envelope and was a little bent but I had to bent it to adjust to my head size so no complaints from me. As for the color, it isn't glittering gold like the element but it looks more like a harvest gold/orangish-copperish gold. I thought I had a big head but no, it was pretty small. This circlet barely fitted my head without falling to my ears. I'd say the smallest circumference is probably 20ish inches, give or take a few inches. Since it is metal, you can feel it on your head but will get used to it. It looks great with my Roman praetor Cosplay so I'm pretty happy :)The only thing I didn't like too much was the price of this thing. I'd peg it around $12-15 but this thing was $20. But it didn't look cheap so I'm okay with it. The leaves can be a little sharp so be careful when removing it so not to scratch yourself.

I'm a 5'10'' male with a normal sized noggin and I could not tighten this enough to sit atop my head. I guess crowns are meant for megalomaniacs with outsized skulls. The crown is well made and definitely looks nice as part of a Greek themed outfit. I just wish the fit was tighter.

Nice looking but the chain was difficult to work with and breaks easily.

This was a much better quality laurel wreath than I expected. It is made of a thin metal that is sturdy enough to look presentable, but malleable enough to mold to the shape of the wearer's head. I bought this for a theatrical production and it looks good close up and from afar. I plan to remove the chain as it will keep it's shape and hold up without it. I think it will fit numerous head sizes as it can be bent inward to be smaller or expand to accommodate a larger head. Worth it for sure!

These are great. It's open in the back and has a matching gold chain so you can adjust the size, and the metal is soft enough to bend it to fit your head shape, but sturdy enough so that once you bend it it doesn't loose shape again unless you do something intentional. I have a huge head and still had several inches of chain to make it larger left over. Works equally well as a crown or as more of a headband.

Unfortunately, this piece is very large and not flexible enough o size down well. We won't be able to use it for our Halloween theme this year!
