Inexpensive alternative to Magna-Tiles
Magnetic building blocks have been on the rise -- and for good reason: they are fun to play with and encourage building and spatial skills. Magna-Tiles was the original maker. How does this copycat compare?PROS- Far less expensive than Magna-Tiles- Good set of "blocks" to build different kinds of sets withCONS- Much less solid feeling than Magna-Tiles- Some parts feel flimsyThere have been stories about children swallowing magnets. Doing so can cause death very quickly (visit the ER ASAP if you find your child having swallowed magnets!) As such, it is IMPERATIVE that you check every building block for any damage where the magnet could potentially separate. Don't trust your older child to keep the blocks away from the younger ones... You don't want to take that chance. If your child is older and responsible enough not to swallow a magnet, this set is a good alternative to Magna-Tiles. But again, check every piece for any damage before playing.

Little imaginations run wild.
What fun these are. Magnetic tiles are better than LEGO’s in my opinion. My kids love these. We already had regular ones, I got these girly ones so my son might leave some for her to play with. Their imaginations run wild with these.they have even used them as a cellphone 😂

Great!
This is a great product and the colors are super unique because they are pastel! The students in my classroom love building with them. I actually may order another set because they are used so much by the children! Thanks for a great product!

Both boys love these magnetic tiles!
so much so they fight over them half the time. Got this as another set to add to what they had instead of the same one. Its nice these include some additional pieces to make other items than just "houses" or "fancy hotels.". The brick / windows / roof snap into the squares easily enough for them. Manual is lacking on how to put some of the other items together but easy to figure out. They've stepped on them already and haven't broken anything which is nice. Kids don't mind but from an adult standpoint i wish the magnet areas were bigger like discovery kids. Either way these magnets are stronger than most of the lower end magnet tiles and the kids are happy so we're happy.

Major Pieces Missing. Huge Bummer
Missing major pieces. One of the main reasons I bought this particular set, since we already have magnetiles—- was the fact that we could create vehicles. But we are missing both black vases for the wheels, missing two wheels and missing the rectangular magnetiles that are places on the vehicles to build on top of....so a bit of a bummer. And they’re already mixed in with the tiles we have so it’s hard to separate all the pieces, without returning the entire thing there’s no other option to send the pieces missing.Sucks. Pls help.

Looks like a return
This looks like it might have been a return item and was just thrown back in the box. Part of the storage bag was even hanging out when I opened it. When I opened the box, some parts were in bags and some were not. Since this is a gift, I counted all the pieces to make sure they were there, but it doesn't look giftable. I hope I can find some comparable bags to put the loose pieces in since I don't have time return before the party.

Great for open creativity
We received this today and so far it's great! The various shapes and types of blocks leave a lot of room for creativity. There is a handy idea guide included as well. The ferris wheel project is very cool but not overly technical and doesn't require any screws or hardware so even a young child could build it themselves. Kit comes with a drawstring storage bag for easy cleanup. This would be a great gift because the kit contains everything you'd need all in one purchase, or sets can be combined to have more of each shape block. Be mindful that the box says not for children under 3 due to magnets.

Fun and cute set
This is a really cute set. It has everything to make lots of cute structures. My daughter loves the ferris wheel, she keeps spinning it.The pieces are lightweight and easy to handle for younger kids. The magnets are only on the sides, so it can be a little finicky to line them up. They are not compatible with other magnetic tiles (not that they claim to be).Overall, great set for the price, the box makes a cute gift too.
