Review: Let there be light - This light has been a godsend for my pantry. Brand new house and no light for the pantry. I didn’t want to mess with electrical wires and what not. I know my way with a drill though, so this was a no brainier. Installation was pretty straightforward and simple. I ordered 2 packs of batteries cause you never know when you’ll need them. The light itself is bright enough for night time use without blinding you. The motion detection is spot on even though the ceiling is high in my pantry. It detects me as soon as I open the door. This is a must have item if your closet, pantry, or hall way has no light.

A: It is powered by 4 D-cell batteries (not included), without remote. Screw installation. It is a motion sensor ceiling light that turns on automatically when motion is detected and turns off about 20 seconds after no movement.

**Q: Is this motion sensor ceiling light bright enough for a dark area?**
A: Yes, it has 400LM and is perfect for closet, pantry, hallway, stairway, porch, shed and storage room where there is no wire. If the area exceeds 300 sqft, the effect of multiple battery ceiling lights working together will be better.

**Q: Will this light fit a small closet or low ceiling space?**
A: The light measures about 7.5 inches in diameter and 1.8 inches in height. Please measure your space before installation, especially for narrow closet, low ceiling or small wardrobe

**Q: Can you explain the two sensing modes in detail?**
A: In daylight mode, it will detect motion during both day and night, but not that it stays on all day. Night mode wors only when ambient light is below about 15LUX. In both modes, the light turns off automatically after about 20 seconds without motion.
