Strips are black but adhesive is white!
The strips are black but the adhesive is white. I purchased this to replace the translucent adhesive strips for my EZPass tag, so that it is less visible. I am now sad.

Strong!
At first I was confused because I thought I bought velcro, but there are no fuzzy sides. Then I realized it wasn't velcro and that the pieces just lock into each other. I used it to mount a wireless doorbell to my door frame, and it handles the job with no problem. Super impressed with this product.

Not Happy with the adhesive backing.
The grip and hold is there for a heavy item on the Velcro, but my problem is the adhesion on back of velcro does not hold during cold nights. I followed the steps to adhere it to the plastic console in my truck and found it on the truck floor a few times already. Tried a few new ones and same problem.

Better than Velcro when you need a secure hold
Definitely more secure than velcro and better for anything that needs to be taken on and off a lot. The strips are easy to cut and better than getting the tape if you’re not going to use a lot of it.The main disadvantage over velcro is that they require more force when you’re attaching them since you have to click them in place. They also take more force to remove and need to be attached to something relatively sturdy.

Simple solution for streamlining tv devices
I secured a Roku device to the bottom of my tv using 2 one inch squares. Be sure to test its placement before adhering the squares. I almost started to place it tighter to the wall until I realized I couldn't because of the two cords out of the back. I just did this so I can't speak of its longevity, but the fasteners seem to have a great hold. Fyi, I bought a fabric chain and cord cover that pretty much matches my wall paint to hide all of the black cords. Looks good and frees up my dresser for decorating. Should've done this ages ago!

love these fasteners
Love these.. got hem to use for a screen netting on my canapy. The stick well but not well enough for what I wanted for the fasteners would be out all summer in rain and weather... the netting was attached to the canapy top that is some what of a vinyl type of fabric, or possibly ripstock. But I bought some goop Marine glue from amazon.. and applied that to the fasteners and reattached them.. and now they are perfect. I LOVE these fasteners much much better than velcro. These snap together and you hear them snap when they connect. The hold things tight and secure. The ones that I attached to the metal poles.. the sticky side was strong enough to work on the poles and I did not have add glue to them, but the ones on the fabric type of material needed the glue.excellent product though and I will never use velcro again if this will be suited for the project. I think they adhere better to flat hard surfaces.. but for me.. the remedy of adding a bit of the marine glue was my answer ...probably not for everything... they are not flexible like velcro is.. the fasteners are stiff and hard, but snap together well and easy enough to pull the sides apart if you need to reposition, So unless you want to use them like on a tent or canapy top, they are good to go right out of the package.. but if you want to insure that they do not pull lose on items that will remain out in the weather, then maybe add a bit of marine or some similar type of adhesive to the back.

Love these things! Forget velcro!
Just forget velcro. These interlocking fasteners are 10 times better. Make sure to clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Also while the following should be obvious...just note for wood... like other similar products don't use on something with a waxed surface. Also wouldn't recommend painted walls either. Just some thoughts... (and yes I tried on waxed wood without thinking on one set... it doesn't do anything to the wood... but it just won't stick and ruins the strip)

Not *exactly* what I wanted, but...
I wanted this in black, but all that was advertised was "Clear"... so I had to make do. I haven't yet tried them, but have opened the pack and they seem ok. Bendy plastic, and seem they will be easy enough to cut to shape.

very useful, used to mount a wireless access point on a glass partition. Think of it like lego not velcro, easy to mount and dismount many times over.
