By Boris Pasternak - Doctor Zhivago (New Ed)

I love illustrated books and was prompted to buy a copy of Doctor Zhivago having recently watched a documentary on Boris Pasternak, which was extremely moving and interesting. I already had a paperback copy from years ago, but thought I would like a hardback one, with illustrations, if possible. When I did my research and saw this Reader’s Digest version, I knew I would have to have it. I was delighted when I received my copy. It was in wonderful condition and wrapped securely with plenty of protection. I also bought a copy for a friend. A lovely version of this book to own. I’m so pleased to have purchased it!

I knew the story as depicted in the film, but was still thrilled to get such a great copy of this wonderful book

An interesting read in light of the war in Ukraine. I'd not read the book before but saw the film years ago and again recently. A heartwrending tale.

Arrived promptly and was lovingly packed by someone who cares for books. The book is beautiful. I am delighted with the translation, as well.
