National(=Panasonic) Hair Clipper Trimmer ER121

7/17/23 battery sill giving about 30 to 35 minutes. Never found replacement cutter head. All still operational. Remember to blow out the hair to cutter head and a drop of oil made for trimmers once every 6 months or so and its all good. 12/25/21 replacing original blade. Battery lasts about 30 to 40 minutes nowadays.9/7/19 update. Still works, a little duller, battery seams to have gotten a little weaker but charge after every use and remove from charging cradle. Then charge 1hr before using. I wish they made one that would auto start and stop charging. But nonetheless solid buy is battery craps out Ill just buy another.12/18/16 Wow, I stopped using my ER-1511 Panasonic trimmer. I get 2 head shavings per change or every 4 weeks. I am working on a smart wall socket to come on once a month to charge for 3 hrs and then repeat on a monthly basis. I love the cordless charging feature. My RE-1511 on cut to .8 this cut that down to .3 or .4 at this price I'll buy 1 every year if I have to. The only thing I miss is the how wide the ER-1511cut so it takes about 10 to 15 minutes longer. If this thing had a wider cutting head this would absolutely be perfect!

I have been using the National / Panasonic ER121 since 2006. Every few years, I have to replace it. From all the hair trimmers I have ever owned, this has been the most robust, the most reliable, the easiest to use and the best for travel.My most recent purchase has been a bit different. The blade feels harsh and there's no other way to describe it. Even on my neck, it seems to be almost cutting me. I returned one unit and the second unit is much better, but doesn't feel smooth like my previous experience. It's still a great unit but I no longer feel safe in sensitive areas. Also- add oil before you use it, for some reason these blades shipped dry.I would buy it again, I hope it's not a manufacturing change. The main issue with these units is that replacement blades cost almost as much as the unit itself.

The reason I gave this hair trimmer a 4 and not a 5 was because I have only had it for a month or so. So far it is performing great, it's a smooth operating motor and cuts my hair very close to the skin. Is lightweight and fits nicely in your hand with very little to no vibration. If anyone is searching for a hair trimmer that cuts evenly and is of high quality, than look no further. Sure this is kind of expensive and I was a little cautious about paying this much but it's well worth the price. It's an item that I feel will last a few years and beyond. Another reason I chose this hair trimmer is because it came with dual voltage options and I travel quite a bit overseas, I would highly recommend this item to a friend.

I have purchased two of these prior to this one and have had great success with them. Being a barber stylist, I use them on a regular basis so I need a reliable rechargeable clipper trimmer to do the fine tuning on my work and have been satisfied with this brand more than any other in over thirty years.Did not yet rate it five star since I just bought but I am sure it will be.Thank you.

the battery died to fast

My barber recommended this unit as I have a shortish beard and all the trimmers I've bought have been disappointing. This one is fantastic. It's really well made, quiet, easy to maneuver, trims quickly and thoroughly, and is easy to clean. It's definitely the best beard trimmer I've had. The only issue was that the instructions were in Japanese! Fortunately I was able to find a version in English on the internet.

I bought my first ER121 almost 8 years ago in Dubai. Of course you have to do the maintenance on it like any other electric trimmer product (i.e.: clean and oil it). It wasn't until recently did it start giving me problems, so of course I found and purchased another one on Amazon. This product is amazing and very durable. Bottom line is you can't go wrong with the ER121.
