It has adjustments on it to change the output. I have an Audio Control LC7i with a ACR1 bass control knob and that really helps to keep it from overdriving. You want an amp that can put out more power than the sub will handle so you don't have to drive the amp as hard to get the desired level. **Q: Will this power a couple rockville 600 rms watt each 12" subs in a sealed box?** A: Sorry, Robert, your answer is totally incorrect. This amp will power 2 Rockville subwoofers just fine. The amp is rated at 750 watts MAX, meaning it would only put that much power out if you had the volume cranked to max and the gain control on the amp set to max. The 600W speakers will take 600W of input (theoretically) before their voice coils lock up and they become paper weights. The speakers will play with just a single watt of audio input, you don't have to try to put 600W to each one. So, an amp rated at 750W will play 2 speakers rated at 600W just fine. As for the sound quality?
