Q: I want to arrange six of them as a foundation under a 6'X8" wood shed over a soil/dirt surface. Will they do the job?

I used plastic pallets for exactly the same thing. you can buy them usually for $5 - $10 each from a local warehouse. They are much stronger & will do a much better job as a foundation for a shed.

Q: I'm looking for 36x36 concrete pads to use as driveway pavers. Answers to other questions so far are contradictory - what is the weight capacity?

This isn't the product off you. It's lightweight concrete over styrofoam. It actually almost breaks under foot with body weight

Q: Can anyone tell me the actual physical size of the pad

The size is right there is the model name: UC3636-3...36' x 36" square, and 3" high...and that is accurate.

Q: Our building codes call for 8” thick. 36x36” could you make two of them?

8 " for an HVAC is like overkill to set the HVAC condenser on bit they may want it 8" above ground in a wet area that is possible flood zone so this is not recommended for that stacking
