To say that these figures are gorgeous would be an understatement.Before he was helping Godzilla defend the Earth from his evil alien counterpart, Space-Godzilla, Moguera was partaking in an alien invasion of his own in Toho's 1957 classic "The Mysterians." The 1957 Moguera is significantly different looking than the 1994 M.O.G.U.E.R.A., but is brilliant in its own right.This Moguera figure is highly accurate in sculpt when compared to its movie counterpart, but there are a few noticeable differences: Moguera's jaw is slightly bigger than in the movie. He also looks a bit slimmer. Although noticeable, these differences are not bad, but, in my opinion, actually improve the look of the figure. It doesn't dull or clunky, but a weapon capable of destruction. In addition, the paint job is very accurate. The blue-to-gold gradient works very well with the armor. When it comes down to it, wonderful design.The articulation of the figure is great, too. He has even more flexibility than the Baragon figure, being able to swivel his waist entirely around. He can bend down, move his head, spin each section of his tail, spin his arms, and stand on his own without extra support. His nose drill apparently spins, but I haven't had much luck in making it work.The real problem that comes into play is his tail: his tail has a tendency to pop off every once in while because it is a bit heavy in comparison to the rest of the figure. His antennae are also very delicate and should be placed on with caution. Both problems, however, can be avoided by making sure the parts are placed carefully and snuggly to fit into their respective sockets.Moguera comes with a wide variety of accessories, including a stand, a name tag, an extra pair of antennae, a Markalite Beam Canon, a stand for the canon, and the Red Mysterian (who is no scaled to size with Moguera). The accessories are VERY fragile, especially the Markalite Canon. So be careful when mounting it on the stand.Overall, while the Moguera does have some problems in the fragility department, its downsides are completely overshadowed by the remarkable craftsmanship of the design and implementation of the features. Takuma Katsuo's sculpting talent really shows itself here. Some people may say the fragility takes away from the usability, but these figure aren't really meant to be played with anyways. Although one could hypothetically play with it, it should ultimately be kept out of the hands of young children. All in all, a great edition to anyone's collection, and a steal at its price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super high-quality little figure! This is a small but beautiful reproduction of the Mysterians' giant robot--looks like it's right out of the movie! It's a bit pricey, but it's a super-detailed figure and a lot of care obviously went into it. The little additional pieces of the Markalite ray-tower and the tiny Mysterian give it extra appeal as a display figure. I'm delighted with it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderfully distinct and unusual, albeit small, figure *by R***Y on August 10, 2015* This is a gorgeous little display piece of one of Toho's most obscure Kaiju. The original Moguera from their SciFi alien invasion movie "The Mysterions". It is a beautiful rendition of the giant robot. The only major downsides is the rather lack of range of articulation at some key points. The waist and head should elevate a hair more. It is also extremely finicky to get posed and the armored skirting positioned just right. The accessories are great and make nice displays. The only other complaint is the size. This figure, like all the Revoltech SciFi series is rather small. About 4-5" rather than Bandai and NECA's more commonly seen 6-8" scaling.
