(Sorry store, it was a better deal here.) The medium was tighter in the band and straps but did not provide any more support. In fact because it was tight, the material dug in and I could feel the slight itchiness of the wool. The large was supportive and kept my boobs in a nice shape. The band and straps were snug and stayed in place. I barely felt the wool texture, I think I will easily get used to it. I was very impressed with how breathable it felt in the underboob area! Not like synthetic bras.It is a stretchy compression bra, so it does not support bouncing and will probably not hide nipples, but I think it will be very nice for camping and backpacking, and feels a lot like a slightly hardier version of my favorite sleep bra, so I plan to sleep in it because sometimes it's too annoying to change my bra in the tent, especially if it's cold out.UPDATE: I really like this bra. Very comfortable, not itchy. It is a great low impact bra.It fits a bit more normal as far as sizing than the balance light bra that I also love. I am pretty small but like the girls to be held tight (34-36 AA) so I ordered and kept a small. It doesn't feel overly snug like some bras can.The merino wool is perfect for keeping the moisture off your skin. I wore this bra for 6 out of 8 days of the Absa Cape Epic in South Africa and continued washing it out and hanging it to dry between stages. It was always dry and stink free within a few hours and kept me comfortable and dry in the races.
