This does work well!

Works great! I got this so that only one finger would need to be immobilized, but that ended up straining my joints and tendons too much and causing other issues. So I had to use a buddy finger. I need to switch off buddy fingers throughout the day, just to mitigate pain from using my hands in weird ways, but that’s probably just because I have weird connective tissue. It’s also worth noting that this is pretty comfy and I haven’t had any trouble sleeping in it. We caught my trigger finger early and I’ve been using this brace for a couple weeks now and the clicking/catching has improved quite a bit!! Really hopeful that it will just heal on its own and not need any other intervention. My only complaint is that I wish they had an extra small. I have pretty tiny wrists and this one slips up more than I would like, but really have been impressed the brace.

I bought this one for my mcp sagittal band injury on the middle finger. I didn't realize I had bought a large, and after I started using it and discovered the wrist was too loose, I was outside my return period. So I can't give 5 stars because I really can't evaluate what the right would be. That being said it works really well for a single finger, but even with a single finger injury you should really be bracing against another finger. This is only designed for one finger, but I found the bands were just long enough to strap around two if your hand is small enough. This is one of the more expensive braces on Amazon, even considering it is one of the simplest designs (3 removable straps and a straight support). It seems cheap (in design and quality) compared to some of the others, but it does seem to do the job better than most without being excessively bulky. I tried several other braces after this one, but I couldn't justify keeping any of them over this one. Perhaps if I were able to return this one I might have chosen another, but I will make do and be fairly certain this was one of the best choices I could have made.

Well made I have very small hands had trigger finger on other hand but never had suggestion about splint for that one.i am trying this splint before injections etc.with small short fingers I needed to jiggle it about . Only had it a couple of days so still getting used to it.metal bar as it says can be bent slightly otherwise it was pushing my middle finger back into an uncomfortable position but advised by professional to try it for a few weeks.

Somehow managed to break my finger a few weeks ago while - don’t laugh - doing power yoga, which made doing the most basic tasks like cleaning, cooking, and even showering, a real chore, as it hurt so badly. Have to admit, I didn’t hold out much hope of this brace working, but I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks on and off and every night while sleeping, and I can already feel and see a noticeable difference. Before using it the top joint of my finger was quite crooked, whereas now it’s practically straight again and the pain’s almost gone, although still sensitive and stings a bit if I lift something particularly heavy. I’ve knocked off a star purely because I’ve got pretty skinny hands and fingers and the brace was a tad too wide for me, which meant I had to wrap the individual Velcro’d sections around my hand more than is usual I think, and also had to wrap the brace around my broken middle finger and forefinger together, just to keep it secure - otherwise it would’ve been too slack. This niggle aside, the brace helped immensely. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommend.

Painful after use

Doctor recommended the use of a split for my trigger finger problem. It took a couple of attempts to get the splint in a comfortable position but I am delighted with the result. My pinky is straighter, tendons are not as tight as before and pain has reduced considerably. At present wearing it most nights but hope to cut down to just 2 or 3 nights a week.
