Histotechnician Exam Secrets Study Guide: HT Test Review for the Histotechnician Certification Examination (Mometrix Secrets Study Guides)

After reading many good reviews, I bought the book. Anything that helps me wade through the sometimes vague depths of Freida Carson's book is welcome!All the hype here is bogus - i believe several of these reviews are bogus.Let me break it down for you: Typos. Everywhere. Grammatical errors everywhere. Illogical ordering of topics. Entire words just MISSING in the middle of a sentence. The repeated use of the so-called word "orientate" was enough to make me cringe each time i encountered it.That said, they did a pretty fabulous job of stripping down Carson's book to the bare bones. None of her longwinded explanations or contradictory instructions - just the basic facts. I DO feel it will be useful, but i do not feel it is being accurately represented here. If these people specialize in TEST PREPARATION FOR GOD'S SAKES then you'd think they might employ the services of an editor or proofreader. Just sayin...I would definitely recommend it to a friend, but only with the disclaimer that it reads like it was written in a hurry and possiby by someone whose first language is not English.

First off let me say its not a book per-say, its a thick paper cover with the contents stapled to it with three staples. It looks like something you would print off on your home printer, put a colored cover sheet over and staple together - not worth anything more than $20.00.Its okay for studying, but it needs work. There are some typos, grammatical errors and its really pretty basic. You would be better off just reading your text book or off the internet.

This guide came highly recommended by many friends and co-workers in the histology field. It really simplifies many topics for test preparations.

I found the product to be extremely well laid out and easy process.
