Asceny Double Sleeved Custom Keyboard Cable with Aviator Adapter, Fits Both Type-c and USB-Mini Mechanical Keyboards (Aqua)

I was really excited when I first got it. It seemed well built and it had no problems upon plugging it in but 5 minutes in, I get an error from Windows saying the device malfunctioned which I found weird because I’ve never had that happen before so I tried to find the source of the problem and switched to my original USB-C cable and had no problems at all. I tried plugging the Asceny cable back in and windows gave me the same error. I’ve then ordered a replacement and we’ll see how that one is.

This is my first “custom” mkb cable. It looks and feels good. I expected the metal connectors to be a heavier material but it looks and feels sturdy enough. At this price it is a great buy. The little animal is cute, I realize it is supposed to be to keep where the mini usb and heat shrink from repeatedly bending a lot, it didn’t quite fit in my Leopoldo which had a small indent. Overall it fits my mouse and keycaps 👍Edit: just a heads up the connectors are silver colored, some of the pictures(due to the lighting probably) make it look kind of goldish/bronze

Very well made, looks very good. And has strong feel to it. Definitely would recommend especially for the low price.(edit)After owning this cable for a few months now and i can with out a doubt say this cable is amazing. The cable has a nice light blue wrap with a clear techlfex wire on top. The aviator connectors are nice and heavy and have a strong and sturdy feel to them. The colorful and clean aesthetic really matched my keebs (leopold FC980M & kono-store Kira). Being able to switch from usb c to mini is very easy and doesn't even require me to get up all i have to do is reach over and replace it. After about 2 months of used i saw a post on r/mk where some one had taken the same cable and had given them some coils and i thought that is looked great and i did the same to mine.**note** (do that at your own risk). 10/10

I bought this cable to go with my new mechanical keyboard. The build quality is really solid on the cable and it looks fantastic, the downside, is that my pc doesn't recognize my keyboard with the cable plugged in. I tried different usb ports, usb 3.0, different computers, all the same result. I was getting so frustrated because the keyboard was turning on but it wasn't being recognized by windows. i thought that my brand new keyboard was broken (even worse!). I decided to try the cable that came with the keyboard, plugged it in, and it immediately worked.Unfortunately, my keyboard took an extra month to get to me, and I was so excited to try this cable with it. Pretty bummed out that this doesn't work.

I bought this for my PC's mech keyboard but was waiting on the mini-usb to micro-usb adapter. I decided to use it for my other mech keyboard that is connected to my Macbook so I put a USB-A to USB-C adapter on it. I was removing the adapter an hour later and the USB-A end came completely apart. I did not use a lot of force either. It just came apart. I was stoked to get this today and was like a kid on Christmas. Now I'm the Grinch.If you buy this then be very, very careful with it. It's delicate or so it seems. I could have received a poorly constructed one but I wasn't sure I'd take a chance so I returned it.

Most custom keyboard cables are produced by small companies with huge lead times and they usually cost upwards of $50 per cable (for one connector). The value for money offered by this product is really great as you get a "custom" style cable with aviator, two connectors (wow), and some nice extras like the lil animal you can attach to the cable and a cool sticker. I think it's great value for money. The only downside is that most people who want a custom cable are also looking for coils, so it would be cool if there was an option to pay a little more for a version with coils.

Looks great. Got the aqua color. Stiff cable. Heatshrink job on the usb-c side was bad. The usb-c side also just failed to connect properly. It was loose being plugged into my keyboard, and just didn't feel secure. it would drop connection and reconnect very rapidly at times, and at some point after having it for less than three days, just completely stopped working.Ended up ordering a diy solution for about $10 less (good thing I already own a soldering iron) and ended up building one that works better.Such a shame because it does look good.

I love it! Great price and gold plated usb ends. Looks like tech flex wrap over cable and aviator connector looks stellar! I love the little attachment they include in the order. I ended up coiling the cable myself since it doesn't come that way. I wish it was longer but it's fine if you don't coil it. Everyone at work is loving it and asks me about it all the time.
