Hydra-Pure Vitamin C Brightening Serum by Dr. Dennis Gross for Unisex - 1 oz Serum

I have sampled probably a couple dozed eye creams and serums, and this one is better than most. I like that it has little to no smell that I can detect. My eye area has been sensitive to retinoids in the past, even some major brands that have been labeled as being formulated for sensitive skin. I have previously been left with reactions such as redness, soreness, itching and a rash. Strangely, I don't generally consider my skin sensitive. But this product did not leave me with any unsightly or uncomfortable after effects. The serum has a medium thickness and a gel consistency, and it comes out of the bottle clear. You inly need to use a tiny bit to cover under the eye and the eyelid, so don't let the price of the product deter you. I expect this bottle to last me a long time. After approximately 2 months of using it, I didn't notice any difference in fine lines, but considering that it's summer, and I spend a lot of time outside in the sun, that's a good thing because it means it's preventing things from getting worse. I expect in the cooler months I will see more improvement. I do feel a bit of a tightening effect upon patting it on, as is to be expected with a good serum. You can follow this up with a moisturizer after you let this soak in for a couple of minutes, as it does absorb pretty quickly.

This has been my eye serum for over a year now and I can't imagine going back. Is it pricey -- heck yeah, but I honestly feel it is worth it. And this little jar lasts me almost a year, so when I figured how much I was spending on my cheaper face cream this actually came out ahead. This is a lightweight gel serum. It absorbs without any rubbing or pulling at your eye area, just pat it on and let it work. A little bit goes a LONG way and I've found that when I get to the bottom of the jar I just turn it over and open it instead of pumping to get the last bits out. There is absolutely no scent that I can detect. I had been getting some crows feet from smiling and have found that they have not worsened and are actually much less noticeable, surely due to the retinol. The retinol does not bother my eyes and I find the added antioxidants to be quite soothing. I also have no burning or itching of the eye or eye area, like I had feared when I first tried it. I don't think that it is an incredibly moisturizing eye lotion so I save this for night before I go to bed and use Andalou Luminous eye serum in the mornings as a pick me up.

This product didn't do what I needed it to do. I was looking for something to address aging issues and provide more moisture (I'm 51 with normal skin/dry in winter). I gave it some time (6 weeks) but I was still needing more moisture and found myself applying it more than just in the morning before bed.A suggestion: I came across Murad Essential C Eye cream at Ulta and am VERY happy with it if you want to consider an option. I wish I would have checked Amazon first! Grrrr! It's at least $20 less expensive on Amazon vs. Ulta.

I used a sample of this product, along with other anti-aging products, in the mornings for about a week. All of the sudden, one day I noticed that my frown lines between my eyes had improved - weren't as deep and noticeable. I kept checking, thinking that maybe I hadn't had my glasses on when I had looked. But I was right - there had been an improvement! I immediately ordered one bottle and have just placed an order for a second one for when I need it. Even though I use several other products, some in the morning-others at night, this was the most recent product I had used, so I am giving the credit to it. Most of the other products I have used for some time. Is it just this product that made the noticeable improvement? Or is it a combination of it and the other products I use making the difference? I don't know - I only know that something is making a difference. I am a 71- year- old female (the account name is my husband's) and so happy to find something that is noticeably improving the frown lines (without Botox, etc.). I am also experimenting with using it morning and night on other wrinkles around my mouth, on my neck, the top of my hands and on my upper chest. I do want to emphasize - this is not a miracle serum - I still have lines between my eyes - but they are, as mentioned earlier, less deep and noticeable.

This product promised to reduce dark circles and bags beneath the eyes. For the price, I would have expected it to work better than it did. I do have allergies and hereditary dark circles, and I was looking for an alternative to expensive plastic surgery procedures. This definitely was not the answer. I do have very sensitive skin, and it did not irritate my skin at all.

This product worked fairly well for me but did not reorder due to expense v. value. I notice the creases on my eyelids and crepy appearance lessened. My alternative is the Japanese product line, very cost effective, Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist, 5.7 fl. oz. (170ml). I use this all over my face; even eyelids. It is a great product! You apply very sparingly and pat it onto your face, including eye lids.

I have been using it for a month now and really haven't noticed a difference in wrinkles but it does seem to firm the eye area when you first put it on. Has made a difference in the dark circles though. Will not be buying it again. Not any better than the drug store brand I was using.

This eye serum was recommended by my aesthetician and it is superb ! I have tried every cream and serum for the eyes and they do very little. But this serum lifts the under-eye area and no other one ever did that. I will continue to re-order.

Non-greasy, non-creamy and very easily absorbed.I haven't noticed any 'miracles' but the eyes do look less tired and dry in the mornings.

Ich habe schon viele Seren und Augencremes ausprobiert. Dieses ist super. Es ist sehr gut verträglich. Ich bin nämlich sehr empfindlich an den Augen. Es ist ergiebig und man kann sich super danach schwinken, ohne dass alles verschmiert. Ich finde auch, dass der Effekt da ist, vor allem eine Rötung am Auge ist bei mir verschwunden. Jederzeit zu empfehlen.
