UK henna artist Alex Morgan has worked her magic again, taking inspiration for her second Henna series design from the artwork of the Ottoman world. The aptly named Oasis guitar transports players to a magical world of visual and auditory delights. Luna's state-of-the-art laser etching technology has precisely "tattooed" Alex's intricate design onto a spruce top. The acoustic-electric guitar is built on a folk body design. A slightly smaller body type, it is great for musicians of a smaller build, or those who prefer playing a smaller-sized guitar. The mahogany body and cedar top create a quickness of sound, with plenty of overtones and a thick bottom-end when playing open chords. The 25-1/2" scale, C-shape neck design, and 1-5/8" nut width add comfort for performing intricate progressions on the rosewood fretboard. The included B-Band preamp with built-in tuner and low z output faithfully recreates the amplified sound of this impressive 6-string.

Great Tone, Look, and Price!
I absolutely love this guitar. It looks and sounds fantastic, is well made, and the smaller body is perfect for me.When I first found out about Luna I knew I had to get one of their guitars. I learned on a 3/4 Yamaha, which even though it's over twice my age is still a great little guitar. But because I learned on something small, full size acoustics have always been harder for me to play. I found the spruce version at a local music store and got to play on it for a while, but I'm a huge fan of the warm tone cedar produces. I was originally going to buy this from Musician's Friend, but it worked out at the time that I found it at a cheaper price here on Amazon. The first one they shipped me actually had a defective preamp, but I had no issues whatsoever getting it exchanged. I've had this guitar for over 3 years now, and people still rave over it, even people who remember when I first got it.The neck is nice and smooth and really easy to play on. The tuners are solid and just the right tightness they stay in tune really well. When the guitar arrived, it was pretty close to in tune and the strings the factory put on it where really nice. As I mentioned before, the tone is warm and balanced. You can get clear highs and resounding lows out of this guitar, with well rounded mids. The preamp also allows you to customize these sounds if you are playing it plugged in. I've only had to change the battery in the preamp twice, but I primarily play the guitar with a mic.The laser-sketched design is just beautiful, and the moon phase mother-of-pearl dot inlays are a really nice detail. The whole guitar is ornate without being over the top. The guitar looks just as beautiful as it sounds. The guitar is GREAT whether you are playing live or in the studio. For women or smaller bodied men who are having a hard time finding a comfortable guitar with a full sound, or guitar players who just value a good sound for a low price, I highly recommend this guitar. I've never been disappointed with it.

Very sweet, VERY playable guitar. The action is perfect, sound is nice (big, full, and warm), looks are great. Fit and finish are perfect.It is a little wider at the nut than other Lunas, perfect for finger picking or for those with bigger hands. Tuners are generic -- a little disappointed with that -- I have a Fauna series Luna that came with Grover tuners. The nut and saddle are Nubone (which I think the other Luna did not have) -- may make the sound a little better.I did buy this thru Amazon Warehouse deals which gave a horrendous and inaccurate description of the condition of the item -- my only complaint.

This guitar arrived with a hole in the body, a long crack in the soundboard seam and numberous scratches/chips. Not a playable instrument.

I've had this guitar for a couple of months now and indeed it is the perfect fit. I can finger the fret board easily ...

Beautiful guitar!
I purchased this item used. It has one tiny mar on it, but otherwise it's incredible! It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It's a comfortable fit as I'm 5'4", and the sound is wonderful. I enjoy playing this very much!

there are doubts
I have NOT purchased this guitar YET. I want to say a few things and ask a few questions but the question box won't allow me to type more than 10 words. I am looking on the actual Luna site at this guitar. I am ready to purchase it on here, but I have doubts because there measurements are different, the weight is different, and the shade of cedar appears to be different as well. How do I know this Luna guitar is a genuine Luna guitar and not fake? Based on the differences I see from Lunas actual pictures and information on their official website and the information on amazon, I am hesitant in buying this. If I'm spending money on a guitar, I want the confidence to know if it's real or not.

Poor
Arrived damaged. Cracked body, and scraped or unfinished bottom. Also the design was poorly done. The sound was lovely, however the action was to high. Obviously I have returned the guitar

Very nice guitar. Good range of tones so neither too trebly or bassy. Nice pattern too. Sounds great plugged in either through jack or XLR input
