The seat itself is very comfortable and I no longer wear padded shorts. HOWEVER, the screws that fix the saddle to the post that come with this seat are very weak and defective. DO NOT USE THOSE SCREWS, use your own that fit. The screws break off if you try and remove the saddle! Think about that...what if you are flying down a rocky mountainside and the screws break off? This needs to be addressed by the seller as it is a HUGE safety issue.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.    Very excellent bike seat because it is incredibly comfortable and not so oversized that it looks embarrassing.When I first took it out of the box I was a little bit put off by just how much bigger it is than my previous seat but I quickly got over that after feeling how very comfortable it is. I bought a used bike and was shocked at how uncomfortable the hard leather seat was, so I immediately went on Amazon and searched for a comfortable seat for my new bike. This was the best option that came up. Cushy, a good price, and very easy to install!I ride a road bike and this seat works like a charm. It is wide and very soft. When it rains, it will be wet for a few hours but some time in the sun usually dries it out pretty quickly. I'm expecting this seat to last my bike many years.If you're searching for a new bike seat to replace an old, uncomfortable used one, then this is the seat for you!

Replaced original seat on vintage circa '72 to '74 Schwinn Varsity.Short story: Home run! HUGE improvement.Long story: I read all the reviews. Checked one out in a store to touch squeeze, feel, etc. Seemed really good.Ordered it here on line. While waiting for it to come in I saw it in another store and touched, squeezed and felt it and then read the reviews again.It came in a day earlier than indicated. Installation was no more than 5 minutes using the existing hardware. Just note and pay attention how the hardware goes when you remove your old seat. It's super simple. I spent more time fine tuning the height and levelness of the seat adjustment after I got it installed.Now the testing. Sat on it and instantly know it was GREAT. Drove around the driveway a little bit and still GREAT. Got up the next morningand rode 10 miles. Just got back and it's GREAT! The original seat was ok as a teenager but man it was horrible as an adult. This new seat makes this bike seem like brand new all over again. I almost was going to buy a new bike but now there is no need. My riding is just for exercise. Nothing crazy. Now I can go any distance I can with comfort. The padding amount is perfect. Not too much where it is silly but perfect enough for comfort.And the springs underneath...!!!! Great for absorbing bumps and potholes. No more having to stand on the peddles.

Man oh man... this thing is amazing compared to the stock 'tiny' Giant seat that came with my Revel 2. I used to have the Bell seat cushion that went on top of the stock seat, but this thing is SO much better. It took me about 10 minutes to install it after i figured out how the whole stock seat setup worked. Just took a standard allen wrench to take of the one bolt, then took the original seat off the bracket, and this one fit the existing bracket without any special parts.I'm 6'6" 280lbs so a bigger seat was a must for me. This isn't "too" big, but it's just right for me. My 3 mile ride with my dog was so much better than before! The bumps are much easier to ride over now and I came home without the dreaded bike "inner leg" pain. Bicycle shorts with the padding aren't even needed now and this seat provides a much more comfortable ride than padded bike shorts do with the stock seat. If you're thinking about getting a more comfortable seat and you're a larger person like me, you will NOT regret getting this for the price you pay for this... HIGHLY recommend this seat.

This is a very nice bicycle seat for the cost. I replaced a stock seat that caused soreness in the rump after about 15 minutes riding. I am a 6' man about 190lbs and the seat provides a nice stable, slightly padded and springy ride that makes longer rides quite comfortable. I ride for about 45 minutes a night and this seat is perfect for that amount of riding. I think it would likely be sufficient for a longer rides as well but I have no experience with that.The only potential negative I see is that the seat is not adjustable forward and back (can't be tilted) such that you can alter the relative height of the rear of the seat to the height of the front. It's not a big problem because it's a broad comfortable seat but it could be a problem for some.

Got tired of the constant proctology exam while riding. And the SBS (sore butt syndrome). If you are out amongst bikers you will note that the tinier the seat, the worse the attitude of the rider. It is science. Or ED they say.This seat, combined with a suspension seat post, would not pass muster by the roadie clique but then that is a good thing IMO. A far better ride on a hard tail bike. My next bike will have rear suspension, but this and the post do a good job. I also got hybrid type tires and that helps a lot as well.I thought this seat had the best size, utility, shape and price for my needs and it has made riding better for me and I do it more often as being beat up from below is not my thing for sure.

Bought the 800 in 2012 and put on my Trek. It's incredibly comfortable! Great for on the road or the trail. I'm male 190 lbs 5'8" fwiw. Well worth the $27 I originally paid. Sadly it broke today after six years shortly after putting it on a new mtn bike. Plastic pieces holding it to the mounting bracket all snapped. No crash or anything crazy going on. To be honest I did not ride off the road much over the last six years so it's a little disappointing it broke. May still buy again even at higher price--first have to see if there is a life time warranty with Bell.

I bought this for my road bike to have a more comfortable saddle. I am 193cm and roughly 95kg, so the standard saddle was a bit too narrow and unforgiving.This one was (was because it was attached to a bike that has been stolen) did a great job of offering enough support and comfort for my daily 12k commute.And yes, the gap makes a difference in that area :)

Muy cómodo y fácil de ajustar. Es muy pesado y no es recomendable para competencia alguna, solamente es para una bici de paseo. Llego a tiempo y bien empacado. Muy recomendable.

Extremely impressed by how comfortable it is. I got this for my bike and a gel seat cover for my exercise bike. I was actually expecting to be disappointed but I was pleasantly surprised by how good this is. Riding my bike is no longer a torture session. My only complaint was I wish it was a little cheaper but overall it has definitely exceeded my expectations.

Es increible la diferencia entre el asiento anterior de mi bicicleta estatica a este nuevo asiento, ya puedo durar hasta mas de la hora sentado, no como antes que a los 5 minutos tenia que levantarme por lo incomodo que era. Muy satisfecho con mi compra
