Artisan Professional Classic Aluminum Baking Sheet Pan with Lip, 18 x 13-inch Half Sheet

The first one I bought arrived scratched and dented so I returned it. The second arrived even more badly scratched. I returned that one, too. I haven't tried for a third time. AFter all, who wants a baking pan that scratches so easily?

The bottom of the delivered baking sheet on box opening is scratched and dented with mechanical track marks. There are some sort of prints where something etched into the metal and it cannot be cleaned off on the top and bottom. The bottom has a sticker which cannot be taken off using soap and water. The sticker causes a small fire in the oven when you try to use the pan the first time. I do not recommend buying this or if you do purchase it, do not attempt to use it in a hot oven. I think it would be better used as an oil drip pan or something like that. I suspect this is not an item to be used for making food.

Love the pan. Scratches on an aluminum pan just give it character and are to be expected (it's aluminum!!), in my opinion. However, the description says the measurements of the pan are 18 x 13 x 1. That is wrong. The measurements of the pan are 17.75 x 12.75 x 1. So, if you think you are getting a slightly bigger half sheet pan than the standard half sheet pan, you're not.

Purchased this pan for my mom who was looking for a jellyroll pan that was good quality and within her budget. This arrived fairly quick even without Prime shipping. The pan itself was in a box with other items and arrived safely. The pan has a nice weight to it and is as described. I am sure it will function just fine for her needs and the price was very good!!

Would be 5 Stars if it hadn't arrived with deep scratches on the bottom. Cleans easily, and our silpat fits perfectly.

Arrived in just a box, not really a box that I expected, like from the company. It was scratched, but I kept it anyway. For the money, it should have been pristine. I have used it however, and it bakes fine. Artisan obviously has a good product, but might ship without scratches.

I like that it's very solid, doesn't warp very easily.

The first tray I received was scratched, dirty, and had a small dent in it. I exchanged it for a second which had two large dents in it. I will try for a third but if it is also defective, then I will buy something else. I don't know where the fault lies (manufacturing or shipping).Update: the third also arrived scratched.

I bought this expressly to make focaccia, which I brush liberally with olive oil before the final rise. I made a batch last week. I sprayed the pan with a light film of olive oil for easy release, and the focaccia slipped out with ease. It browned well, top and bottom.Prior to this I've used three different pans for focaccia. The best before this were the oven trays that came with the Miele oven in my last home. The worst was a popular but inexpensive steel pan. I also used a Chicago Metallic pan, which worked well. I prefer this to all the others, but it has one potential disadvantage - it will scratch and mar easily. I never use a metal instrument to cut anything in the pan. However, my wife sometimes takes a tray of focaccia (pre-cut on the cutting board, of course) to gatherings, and I'm sure that eventually, someone will decide to cut a small piece in the pan. It won't be a big deal - it doesn't have a non-stick surface, and it will be cosmetic. But if that would bother you, maybe this isn't the pan for you.I like it well enough that I ordered a second pan. Excellent product, with one star off for being easy to scratch.

It came with several deep scratches and generally other ones all over as well.

Great heavy duty quality. I used it as a grease catch pan in my BBQ as the original was no longer available. works like a charm.

This arrived with scratches all over it and dents in two corners. Returned right away.
