We just went through the worst winter storm in recorded history, down here in Austin Texas. In fact, it's still not over. Power is still out in a lot of areas. And, they're still doing 'rolling blackouts', even in our neighborhood. One of the things that we really depended on, with no power, no cell service, no internet, no NOTHING, was having this NOAA-AM-FM radio that was rechargeable by either cranking it yourself or solar panel. To be honest, I have THREE of these things. One in my truck, her car, and here at home. Some may say that I'm a worry wart. But, I say, better to have it and not need it....This one, from the YEZRO Store took me a minute to figure out. It's a little different from the others. But, once I finally got it, it's really easy to operate. The flashlight is just bright enough to light your way in a dark house. (Don't expect it to light your path down a long dark road in the country.) The 'alarm' is more amusing than anything. (Really, I laughed.) The tuning knob is DIRECT on a very small tuner. So, you have to go SLOW when scrolling through the band for the best signal. The speaker is kind of small and tinny sounding. It has a battery level indicator LED that does a decent job of letting you know when it's time to recharge. The band selector switch works very well, as does the volume knob. You should know that the telescoping antenna is another way of getting the strongest signal from your chosen station. Radio signals travel up and down the antenna in a 'sign wave', not just to the tip. So, after you do your best with the tuning knob, you can increase or decrease the length of the radial (as well as change the angle) to fine tune it even more. This radio is NOT water proof. So, protect it from rain. The ability to play music from an SD card or a flash drive is a nice feature. But, I consider that kind of pointless in an 'emergency' radio.I know that I've picked it apart quite a bit. But, looking at the primary function of this radio, and how well it served me in this winter storm, I can really only give it accolades. It did an admirable job. Especially considering the small investment I made in it. I'm glad I have it. And, now, it's going back in it's box and in my closet until the next storm. it gives me a sense of security, just knowing it's there. Five stars.

The media could not be loaded.  I live in south Texas and we have hurricanes, tornadoes and power outages from weather often. When they happen you do need to be prepared. We are making with my children an emergency kit just in case. Of course it has the food, first aid, batteries, flashlights , water etc in the kit but we thought an emergency radio would be great too. This is not only a radio but so much more. IUt is a flashlight, has a powerband and can charge both by electriacl power or a power bank as well as from the sun. It also has the crank for the radio which I think is the coolest thing. Its a bit of the old days into modern technology. It lets the kids see how things were in the past. The sound is great and the radio isn't huge or hard to store. it even comes with a reading light plus it already has a flashlight. It is a must have for anyone as you never know when you might need it.

I really liked this radio. The design was excellent. Picked up all my local stations and several weather stations. Sound quality great. Light functioned perfectly. Emergency siren was very loud (as it should be). But one thing ruined my rating: It wouldn't charge my phone! I don't even think the usb output functioned at all. Very disappointed. I hate that I'm returning it.

The media could not be loaded.  If you happen to lose power for any length of time you will be glad you have this one. It has AM/FM/and the weather stations plus a flashlight and can be powered by crank, USB , solar or batteries. Bottom Line: This is for emergencies and if you have one, you will be glad you bought this

This product came in a timely manner. It also looks exactly like the photo. We live by the ocean and have a small boat so it's really cool to be able to turn it on and find out whether it's good to take out or not. It'll give the wave heights and choppiness advisories. We also will use for camping. It is light weight and plastic. It seems pretty durable and we like how it has three different ways to charge it.

Nice little emergency radio. Was able to get some use out of it back during the freeze blackouts in Texas. I first used the usb port to charge my phone. The radio was fully charged and was able to get my phone up to 50% battery before the radio's battery was depleted. Volume and radio channel wheels are over sensitive and the radio sounds like an emergency radio. Don't expect to charge your phone cranking the handle. Best you can expect from the crank is to keep the radio playing. Good overall purchase

The worst! The crank broke the same day I got it!!! Never again!***Update- I really respect the company that sells this because they sent me a replacement. I wasn't able to get it which sucks, but this company does have integrity because they initiated the replacement and were very helpful. I'm leaving this in the one star review spot so people will know this because this changes my mind about this company.

Product is exactly as advertised. All functions work correctly and the direction booklet is easy to follow. My only complaint is durability of the casing itself. It is somewhat durable but I thought the outside shell would be a bit more sturdy. I don't see it causing any issues but if dropped I think it may be easily cracked. But even so I think it's worth the money and to have on hand.
