MenScience Androceuticals Advanced Shave Formula

I’ve been using this product now for about 3 years and it’s the best I have used. Is more of a shaving lotion which I like because you can see where you are shaving. Great for my skin type which is sensitive as long as you can tolerate salicylic acid products.

If you are looking to change your regimen, change creams or gels, switch from electric, or avoid skin issues, this is the stuff that will help. After switching from my panasonic electric razor and dramatically changing my shaving method, this product has performed incredibly well. I shave about every other day. With one large drop on each side of my face, allowing it to sit for about 1 minute while i brush my teeth, this shave lotion allows my fusion razor to glide perfectly, with no catching, no sticking, and easy rinse off. I follow it with the menscience post-shave spray which i need to calm ingrown hairs. The shave lotion by itself has made me very happy and I recommend it to friends. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased. Although not every menscience product performs as promised, this formula does.

I decided to splurge on this overpriced shaving cream based on positive reviews (not just on Amazon), but I don't know why it's so highly rated. You need to use so much of it to be effective, and even then, it seems to do basically nothing compared to my old brand I used to use. Maybe it has some positive dermatological properties to prevent acne or something, but I won't buy this agian.

I wish I could find less expensive shave cream but I’ve been using this forever because it’s the best that I’ve tried. I got turned onto this product at Nordstrom’s but they stopped carrying it so I buy it on Amazon. There are two primary things I like about this product: (1) you can see your skin and any facial hair under the product, and (2) I never have shaving irritation, which I believe is due to the product ingredients. Ultimately, this product is deserving of five stars, is well worth the price. and I will continue to purchase it.

For many years I used Neutrogena's shaving cream for sensitive skin that had salicylic acid in it to reduce ingrown hairs. Unfortunately, they discontinued it so I had to find another shaving cream. I found two products with salicylic acid in them and tried both: MenScience Androceuticals Advanced Shave Formula and GiGi No Bump Skin Smoothing Shave Gel. I've tried both for about 2 months now and here is my review...The MenScience Androceuticals shave cream shaves very smoothly when shaving, but after a week of shaving with it, I was beginning to have ingrown hairs and bumps again. I don't know if their salicylic acid isn't as strong, but it definitely wasn't as good as the Neutrogena's shave cream. It also faintly smelled like vomit which is very strange for a product you smear under your nose. Finally, its cost is outrageous, over 4 times the cost of Neutrogena's shaving cream old cream or the GiGi stuff. I do not recommend this stuff. It's marketed as a boutique shave cream, but it is not that great and definitely not worth the price.

Yes it is a smooth shave. Yes it is probably one of the best shaving gels out there, but there is one thing I like about this above most other products I have tried: It is a clear gel and I can actually see what I am shaving. Since I have a bit of a beard and I only want to trim it up I like to be able to see what I am shaving. This helps a lot. I have very sensitive skin and shaving is always a crap shoot for me. I have to shave every other day because mymy skin is so sensitive. This product works well but is a bit pricey.

I am very picky about things I use. Upon some time spending on finding a quality product and contemplating on getting expensive facial product, I can across MenScience. I read review of other users and gave it a try. This is the second shaving cream bottle I purchased (I originally bought a set that came with after shave treatment). It is a perfect product for me because:Pros:- Avoids cuts- Allows for a smooth shave (reduces shaving time)- Allows for close shave- No smell- Reduces frequency of shave (went from daily to every other day)- No in-grown hairCons:- The only that I can think of is no smell/ fragrance. I know some people may like to prefer to have some fragrance in their cream, so if that is something you are looking for, you might want to look for some other product.
