The map holder is just slightly too small to hold a laminated OS map open, so you have to force it in. If it were 2 cm wider, it would be much better. As a result, the sides began to split within less than a week of use and I had to reinforce it with sticky tape for it to function. The map holder has a system to close it by squeezing two parts of the closer together, like many plastic bags. This is so badly made that it failed on day three of use, rendering it unclosable. The basic idea of the holder is good; the quality of the materials and the way it's put together are not up to it. Cyclists need something much more robust. I shall canniablise it to make my own.

DO NOT BUY - I was so pleased these were back in stock, as my previous one (from a different vendor, but same make) lasted over a year, and it is one of the few cycle map cases that will hold an OS map (a crazy design fault for most UK manufacturers, surely). However, within four rides over a one week holiday, this one developed huge splits across both sides of the clear plastic, near to the fold line. Fortunately the weather was dry, or my map would have been ruined, but the map case is useless. The hunt is on again for a good OS-compatible cycle map carrier.
