Amazon Beauty Advent Calendar 2019

Bought this for an 18yr old living away at uni as a treat in preference to a branded alternative as they all appear to contain huge quantities of different creams! This calendar is amazing and can only be sold half price as pure advertising for the contents suppliers as I'd struggle to fill the boxes at £2 each myself. The contents are so varied including products for hair, face body and hands and some interesting little surprises too. Definitely made my daughter feel spoilt and would definitely recommend

I found this while searching for advent calendars for my kids. As I though it looked like a great idea I bought one as a surprise for my wife. It arrived yesterday and I was surprised at just how big it is, it looks amazing. Great Christmassy design and a good sturdy feeling box. My wife is now very excited and is really looking forward to when she can start opening it. As yet I’m unable to comment on the contents as it will not be opened till the start of advent. But from the outside it looks really impressive.

Recommended by Nelly on Facebook. At first was a little disappointed with the first 2. Oh but yet the majority of products were great. Lovely skin care including eyes plus lashes. Lip liners and chubby lipsticks. Mascara, beautiful blusher well worth the money. Products well over 40 quid.After 7 days I cheated and opened them all.Will purchase next year again for friends too. The majority of skin care and cosmetics were a good make too. Ty very much. X oh and very well packaged 😘

Bought one for work for us to share as I can't remember the last time I had an Advent calendar and a second one for a friend's early Xmas present. (she hates Christmas so this was ideal). Each gift is in a large cardboard box - waste of trees - but added to the intrigue. However, I do think they should revisit the packaging for future years and not very enviromentally friendly. Nice products we all got something we used and we swapped items if we didn't use them. We'll probably buy again next year.

I decided to opt for this Calendar instead of the M&S one I’ve had previously. It has a good selection and I’ll get use out of most of the products. It could do with a couple of more high end items but as I’ve become guilty of becoming a beauty snob over recent years it was good to give a try to less expensive brands. I liked the eye cream - I think Olay - so that might be a swap going forward. The packaging is excessive and with us all becoming more aware of the environmental impact of all this disposal wrapping, I’m sure it can be recycled anyway.I purchased it at the discounted price so I think it’s good value for what you get. It’ll make a lovely gift for someone.

So I tried really hard to not open until December, but curiosity got the better of me! As with all of these beauty calendars, there were one or two things I really wasn't interested in, so I gave them to my daughter. However, I was really impressed with the contents, and it was great value for money. I wont give anything away for those who are able to control themselves and keep it closed until later, but you really will love this calendar. I'll certainly be getting another next year!

My calendar arrived yesterday and I’m absolutely delighted with it. The design is simply beautiful, and so festive. I’ve been given the beauty calendar in previous years as a present, and whilst they were nice looking, they don’t compare to this year’s offering. Would make a lovely gift for someone special - I’m tempted to buy another to gift to my bestie.Really looking forward to opening all the boxes when December comes.

It is expensive for an advent calendar, but if you want to spoil the wife and earn some brownie points, or attempt to get in there early to ensure she gets you that perfect Christmas present out of guilt, then this is ideal. She had a lot of fun opening each item, and I think on balance it was well worth it. Would probably do the same next Christmas.
