9/18/16 Two straps bind my filter/regulator/oiler to my vertical air compressor. 1) Feed free strap end into the take up spindle slot. 2) Pull free strap back over itself until strap is loosely around its object. 3) Ratchet the strap to desired binding pressure. 4) You will get about three turns of the spindle before taken up strap interferes with the ratchet itself. If interference occurs, pull up on the ratchet brake to release the spindle. 5) Draw through more strap so no more than about three rotations of the spindle will apply desired compression to your object.

I love these Ratchet Straps first of all because they are made in the U.S.A., and being that they are an endless loop type they work perfect for what I need them to do which is to clamp closed a Latin Conga Drum that has split open in two different places. These straps closed up those splits with no problems and the quality of the straps and Ratchet device is superior to others I have seen made overseas. I wish more products were made in the U.S.A, but our world seems to be changing for the worse. I can't wait to use these for my next project, and looks to me like they will last for many years to come. Thanks very much.
