These do exactly what you want, and they are GREAT at it. Read below!
Ok, first of all, these DO work with Disney pins. I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about when they say these don't work with Disney pins. I decided to bite the bullet and buy them anyway and I'm totally glad I did because they lock on so tight they feel like the locking backs that require the alan key, but if you pull them the right way they come right off. Honestly, these are an incredible invention. I've used these on enamel pins from Disney, as well as various other pins purchased in brick-and-mortar stores and around the internet and they work flawlessly with all of them. - I have never had one get stuck - I have never had one not fit on a normal enamel pin from any brand - They hold so tight, that if you could somehow only grip the base of it and avoid the small lip/cap that releases it, I believe you could tie a string to it and HANG OFF OF IT. I have a large collection of pins and I have both the screw-locking backs that require an alan key to tighten a set screw, as well as these quick-locking backs. I still use the screw-locking backs for pins that I have permanently affixed to backpacks, my pin trading bag, etc. At some level, those ones are stronger than these, while I'm pretty sure that the level at which there is a difference is far beyond the need of an enamel pin, I already had the screw-locking backs and I'm a nerd so I use them anyway for this case. BUT I would totally trust these in the same situation with all of my best pins. I use these for pins that I want to be sure to protect, but in places where I may swap them out more often because it's so easy to do. Since there seem to be a number of people that can't operate these properly I will also tell you how to use them, even though that information is readily available literally everywhere on the product page. Step 1: Push the back onto the pin Step 2: Do nothing else because it's locked on unless the pin back itself is defective but its a 100-pack so throw it away and grab another one. to remove: Step 1: Pull it off. Yes just pull on it. The end of the pin back that is opposite the hole has a raised disc where the diameter of said disc is larger than the shaft of the rest of the pin back so it's almost impossible to pull on it the wrong way. I cannot understand for the life of me how anyone is having a problem with this but for me they have been absolutely amazing and they're so cheap I've given handfuls of them to fellow pin collectors. 5 stars!

Truly locking—your pins are safe!
These locking pin backs are STRONG. I collect enamel pins for my camera backpack, which gets bumped and jostled a lot. Without these pin backs, the pins fell off if they were bumped the right way. But with them, the pins stay in place. The pin will break before the back comes undone—one of my pins actually did break, and the needle stayed in the backpack with the locking back. I’m not at all upset that the pin broke, because if I hadn’t had the backs on, the pin would have slid out of the backpack and been lost anyway. These pin backs are perfect for what I needed them for, but they can be a little difficult to remove. If I ever need to rearrange my pins, some of the backs stick pretty badly. I wouldn’t recommend the locking backs for something you plan on removing often, unless you have plenty of time to fight with the pin. Yes, it can be annoying in the moment that the pin back won’t come off, but ultimately it’s preferable to a weak locking back that could slide off and make me lose my pins. However, this issue seems to depend on the individual pin back—some of them are easy to remove, and some of them are more difficult. Either way, backs do their job well, and I haven’t had a single one fall off of the pin.

These mean business
These pin backs keep my pins on my lab coat like nobody’s business. The backs that tend to come with pins will stay hooked for a while, but eventually you’ll look down and see that either the back or the whole pin is missing. Not with these guys. They’re locked in so good that I struggled to get them off sometimes. I recently learned that that was user-error. You have to pull on the back end while holding the front part in place. That unlocks it and lets you pull your pin out. (Much easier than whatever weird, twisty method I was trying before). So all in all, if you’re looking for a pin back that will keep your pins secure where you want them for a long time, these are the ones to buy.

Very durable!!!
Metal pin backs are an essential accessory for any enamel pin enthusiast, and I must say, these particular ones exceeded my expectations. The durability of the metal ensures a secure grip on the pin, preventing accidental losses. I appreciate the attention to detail in their design – they're sleek and unobtrusive, allowing the focus to remain on the pin itself. What sets these metal pin backs apart is their reliability. Unlike some plastic counterparts, these metal backs withstand daily wear and tear without cracking or becoming loose. This reliability is crucial for those who enjoy displaying their pin collection on bags, jackets, or hats, as it ensures that each pin stays in place. Installation is a breeze; the clasps are user-friendly and provide a snug fit. The last thing you want is to struggle with securing your pins, and these backs eliminate that concern. The subtle yet sturdy construction adds a touch of professionalism to the overall presentation of the pin. While metal pin backs may seem like a small detail, they play a significant role in preserving and showcasing your pin collection. Investing in quality backs, like these, is a decision that pays off in the long run. In conclusion, these metal pin backs are a must-have for pin enthusiasts, combining durability, ease of use, and an elegant design. I can just recommend them, they really hold on on my swim bag !!

Very Strong!
I bought these to secure my enamel pins as the rubber backing and the butterfly backing weren't working for the pins anymore. They do a great job at securing the pins to my bags but the backing sometimes get stuck when when I'm pulling on the back part to release them. They are very good at keeping my pins on any items I want them to be on and they are really easy to install, you just put them on the back of the pin. They are a little big but keep my pins safe. I'm planning on buying more since I only bought the 10 pack to try it out!

Great product.
Works like a charm. Locks into place and stays on perfectly. It's actually a tad difficult to remove them which is perfect.

Love these locking pin backs. They mostly keep my pins in place. And they do the job better than the standard butterfly backs.

My child's uniform has a lapel pin. It came with a basic brass backing that they lost immediately on the playground. Fortunately the pin wasn't lost. And this backer holds strong! I actually can't take it off!!
