Would this clay be ok to use on a kids pottery wheel?

No. This is polymer clay similar to sculpey. Watch some YouTube videos on polymer clay to see how to use it. Fiona Able-Smith’s videos are great. Ace of Clay’s videos are wonderful for sculpting. Just make sure any utensils you use on the raw clay never touch food.

can these be baked in the same oven you cook in? or should i buy a separate small toaster oven?

Yes it can be cooked in your oven at 275F 12mins. Works perfect.

What do I use to seal the clay once baked?

Hello friend! you could use some mod podge to seal it, or a different kind of polymer clay varnish. Mod podge is the most affordable, but you should not put it on items such as bowls or cups which will be used for eating or drinking. But if it is a lil' figure or gift not being given to a person bellow the age of 6, it's a great option! also, in some cases it can be water solvent, so try to keep your mod podge glazed item away from water if you can :) best of luck to you, and happy crafting!
