Great beginner's set of colors …

I ordered these paints and a larger set of the same paints for a paint and sip class I was leading and providing supplies for. I have used a more expensive heavy body acrylic brand in my professional work and was looking for a lower cost but decent alternative for the 12 people in my class. I was really impressed by the high pigmentation and texture of the paint and advised my group In fact that a little would go a long way. I will be purchasing more for myself to use in my own work in the future! I am attaching the demonstration painting I completed that night. Thank you so much--awesome value!

I love these.When I was younger I had gotten into painting and drawing, although I had mostly stuck with pencil drawings and when I could afford it some watercolors or acrylic paint. I also used oil pastel but I always preferred acrylic. As the years went on I kind of forgot about all of this and in the last year my obsession with art has quickly returned,Needless to say, I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this paint overall. It's wonderful. The colors are so vibrant. It makes me regret not getting these before. The fact it's easily washable makes it even better. I'm very picky when it comes to painting, even more so when using acrylic and I was hoping these would be strong colors that don't crack or bleed through and they work great. It goes on very smooth and thick.If I had something to nitpick it's that I wish they were bigger bottles but oh well. Will buy again!

Really good quality paint Set

I used these acrylic paints to paint stencils on some tiles to make a backsplash for my kitchen. I bought some cheap plain tiles and painted them. This paint says it will work on tile, and it does. The paints came in wonderful colors and could be mixed to make even more colors which were just as beautiful. This is the first time I've used this much paint, so I can't compare for you, but the paint did seem consistent throughout the tube, and it was always smooth and not gloppy or overly wet. I just put a dab on a plate - the amount of toothpaste you are supposed to use on a toothbrush, and it lasted for four or five stencils. Then I put a dab of a different color. It took just a few minutes in the morning to paint, and let it dry. In the evening, I did another few tiles, and in that way, I got them all done.I did have to seal the paint before putting on the walls, since they did wash off with water, but the paint was secure unless water touched it. My initial seal did not secure the paint very well, so I added another couple of coats of sealer on the tiles that were not on the wall. I will repaint the ones that washed off, and reseal after I grout. I later heard that enamel paint would prevent that, but I do not have any experience with enamels, and my tiles were already painted at that point.The paint helped me make a beautiful custom look in the kitchen on a low budget.

I didn't want to post a review until I had tested these paints in every sense of the word. First off, let me say that I am a nail technician so my primary use for these paints was on top of acrylic nail extensions and natural nails. They are fabulous. The pigment is so strong and the smallest dab will go a long way. One stroke flowers and sharp lines come out easily with the consistency of these paints. I could tell that someone put a good amount of thought into how the colors should apply, and they hit it spot on. For me, the best part was durability; I could easily thin out the color and consistency with water but once they were dry they stayed on unless scrubbed off. Guys and gals, long gone and far away are the days we depended on Folkart and Crystal Acrylic. MyArtscape delivers a fantastic product that fits into an artist's budget.

love them--I'm in the middle of painting SIX 36" x 48" canvas murals for our church and was running low on paints[imagine!!!] . good color and long lasting despite how small the tubes are

Good to get a variety of colours as there is 12 in this box. I can mix with added white and get many different shades.
