Locking Nut - Gotoh, For Floyd Rose Style Tremolos, Top Mount, Color: Black

Absolutely perfect… I’m shocked. It’s in such great shape… We’ll be buying many more.

If you need a locking nut and don't want to spend the money on a Floyd Rose, this is the nut for you. Fits perfectly with FR or Gotoh and has a high quality build.

Put these in because in my experience, the cheap-o ones will have a tendency to strip where you tighten down the pads over the strings. One huge downside to this, is it is NOT REALLY fully compatible with the floyd nut I replaced. The included screws DO NOT match with the screws the floyd uses. They don't even go in the same direction! lol. That's just a head's up for folks expecting an easy one-for-one swap (not quite). Nonetheless, these have HARD good quality metal. Tighten them down all you want without fear of stripping.

This fit perfectly on my Jackson Soloist. I had to use 2 of the shims provided and it was a great fit. Just wish the shims were predrilled with the holes for the mounting screws. Other than that, I’m perfectly satisfied.

Tried a few others that didn't fit but this one did the trick. Needed the shims that came with it and it's not 100%atch but does the job.

The nut worked great, I wish the mounting screws weren't so cheap. I might have to find some replacements.

I needed a nut with screws that wouldn’t strip because I was making my own hole to mount it. The screws that this but comes with are incredibly strong, no stripping.

Viene con todo lo necesario para el montaje, trae 3 laminas por si se necesita aumentar la altura, trae una punta para marcar la madera donde iran las pijas, trae una barra para bajar las cuerdas, su llave allen, de verdad pensaron en todo. Felicidades

Necesitaba reemplazar una cejilla de floyd rose special barrida, intenté primero con un reemplazo de baja calidad sin marca y se barrió igual que la cejilla del floyd rose special, aparte ambos tenían esa sensación de que los tornillos no se mueven tan libremente entre las roscas. Pues este reemplazo Gotoh se siente muy superior. Se siente que realmente es de acero y no de zinc alloy. Las roscas y los tornillos interactúan libremente sin ninguna resistencia hasta el final del recorrido. Cómo reemplazo de una cejilla floyd rose special R3 quedó muy bien aunque no tienen exactamente el mismo radio. Así que si la quieres justamente cómo reemplazo para una R3 si te la recomiendo.

Good quality, better than the original hardware +5. However, one slight problem: When fully screwed in, it sits slightly to the side, so all my strings are slightly over. Not enough to make me buy a different nut, but enough to be annoying -3. Would have rated it 2, but maybe other people's guitars won't have this issue. My guitar was a mid range Jackson.
