A beautiful book, full of inspiration
This is a really clever book containing an interesting balance of art, science and practical exercises. It's good value as it takes an enjoyable amount of time to dip in and out of each exercise and reflect on what I have learned from each one, before moving on to the next a day or two later. For example, I am now using the imagery of "dropping anchor" or of sending down roots from a lotus flower with each out breath in my meditations, and sometimes the image of a beautiful jellyfish opening and closing to echo the movement of my diaphragm with each breath.I have also found that I am now naturally more aware of my breathing as I go about my daily life - which is a wonderful thing, as it has highlighted a tendency to hold my breath as I get too busy. This makes it easier to stop and release the tension, hence supporting my health and happiness.Many thanks for designing such a wonderful way to support my mindfulness practice.

Just fabulous
I am about a third of the way through this book and really love it. It is a beautifully produced volume (hardback) and the restricted colour palette (basically pink for each energising inhalation/up stroke and turquoise for each relaxing exhalation/down stroke) serves as a sort of underlying rhythm throughout the whole book.The exercises are surprisingly wide ranging and rooted in what feels like a really deep experience of art, mindfulness and neuroscience. There is a whole stack of information and wisdom in here, but it never feels anything other than fun and exploration. It is clear, concise and profound.The book is designed to be coloured in and drawn over, which is liberating in itself, and the exercises can be done any time and anywhere you have a pencil and paper.It would make a great introduction to mindfulness techniques for those new to meditation but it also serves to integrate mindfulness in to the body for those who are familiar with mindfulness.I am going to gift this to a lot of people, it could be a life saver in these stressful pandemic times.Oh, and the free recordings of the meditations in the book which the author has recorded for his website are also really brilliant, he has a great delivery and intonation, and there are other free resources that he shares there too. Generous offerings.

Fantastic book packed with information and activities
Definitely a winner! I bought the book having attended one of Tom Granger's online workshops because I was impressed by his clear and accessible approach to breathing techniques. The book arrived the next day and it's going to keep me busy for weeks to come. It's literally packed with information about breathing and interactive exercises. The advice is to start at the beginning rather than picking an exercise at random. I am still in Part 1 and already feeling the benefits. Tom's website has additional resources to complement the book and I can see this is just the beginning of an amazing journey that will transform my breathing. I highly recommend this book.

An Lovely idea to mindful meditation, breathing and colouring. It is packed with information and techniques. From information on our autonomic nervous system to a good overview of the origin & benefits of mindfulness.Also Bought this book as a gift for a friend. Makes a lovely gift.

Simplemente me encantó!! Hermoso libro, lleno de ejercicios prácticos de Pranayama/respiración. Como maestra de yoga me gusta buscar materiales que apoyen mi práctica personal y la de mis alumnos, definitivamente este es un libro que recomiendo ampliamente a todos aquellos que quieran llevar el minfulness a su tiempo libre de forma divertida.

Fantastic Book !
Just 5 minutes of “Draw Breath” will calm the mind. I enjoy reading and practicing almost daily to quiten monkey mind.
