CRC Heavy Duty Clear Penetrating Grease, 13 Wt Oz, 03056

I got this specifically for door hinges that were groaning and squeaking. It works and as far as I can tell it's more or less permanent. In fact, those hinges act like they have been greased! I got tired of using WD-40 or 3in1 oil and have the squeak return in a few months. Spray hinge, especially any cracks or opening then immediately work door back and forth to try and get more penetration before the solvent dries which is almost instantly. Do one hinge at a time this way for best results. This stuff is great. I'm sure it's useful for many other things. High-quality, perfectly clear grease residue when the solvent evaporates.

This is the product that works the best on car door hinges as it is GREASE and it is CLEAR and does not make a mess on those hinges and springs. I have good luck with it and I have discovered that the grease finds its way into those areas that look tight and unreachable. Use it on your hatchback, too. I think it is perfect for overhead doot springs - grease is a bette lube for that and, again, it is CLEAR.

I like using these products to spray inside the door bottoms of your car as they seal up the door skin to prevent rust down the road.

I’ve used several different brands of spray grease, and this one is the absolute worst. It doesn’t turn into a grease, but more like a slightly thick oil. Every other spray grease I’ve ever used comes out a thin liquid, and after a minute, or so, turns into a thickened grease. You’d be better off using wd40 or something, than this product. It doesn’t actually lubricate or stay put. I assumed that since it had the crc name on it, that it had to be a good product. I was wrong. The only thing about this product that is actually true, is that the spray is clear.

This is a repeat purchase so we have it on hand . We just used up a can to lube garage door tracks, the retracting steps on our RV, and protecting from road salt the cable holding an automobile spare tire . It also works well on door latches, various fittings on our tractors and other equipment. Quick and easy to apply where it is needed.

I really like this stuff. I can't say how well it penetrates into tight spots, compared to an oil or other types of spray greases, but for something that can be used to coat a surface for corrosion protection, lasting lubrication, etc., this is really good. Often I will spray it and then spread it with a gloved finger. Its clear so its not too messy. Recommended.
