Very pretty bowl! My son loves it! I am happy that I picked this one out, and not the smaller size. These are not rice bowls, but good-sized noodle bowls. I only wish that they were a little lighter china. I think they are stoneware (I am not sure what the description says) I expect they will be durable. They are pretty hot when filled with food, so I am looking for bowl cozies to go with them.

I got the Koi one and it is lovely. The bowl is a thick and (seemingly) sturdy ceramic, the chopsticks are well made.I love that the bowl is larger, I can fit my whole meal in it without feeling like it is going to spill over the sides.

I was hesitant to buy this because of lack of reviews, but I bought it anyway because it looked like the perfect gift for my sister-in-law. It is beautiful, large, and sturdy. It survived the dishwasher! Also packaged very safely. It is very beautiful and a great bowl! Thank you!:)
