The PT Dr. advises me it has a lot to do with the fact that I have very strong and well-developed leg muscles. This, in turn, results in my not being able to retract my left knee fully. So, following my PT Dr's. advice I strap myself according to the direction provided by my doctor and go at stretching the joint. It helps tremendously. Even as an old dog, having an athletic background for several decades earlier I know the value of stretching and appreciate enormously the ensuing reward.
