Suunto Quest Speed Pack

I have been running and racing for 32 years, and finally have entered the 21st Century with this watch. I researched it on Runner's World, read reviews on Amazon and chose this watch for its looks, capability, brand name and price. I opted to skip the more expensive package with the heart monitor, since I'm not really interested in my heart rate or calorie burn - but I can see where it would be valuable information. The only thing I wish this watch had is an altimeter, since I run all over North America and it would be fun to track that info. A nice-to-have, but not critical.We had a snowstorm this weekend so I was able to really focus on setting up the watch. It's incredibly easy to do the initial setup, and there are several YouTube videos that show you how to do it. I also signed up for the Movescount website, probably the best part about this whole purchase. The setup is easy, the ability to establish running and walking routes, the ability to track all different types of workouts (I run, walk, kayak, canoe, XC ski and lift weights) and see detailed information about your performance is just amazing. It took a little while to figure out the interface on the Web site and delve into all of the sections, but once you have the information set up you're ready to roll. Besides, with the snow falling outside, it was kind of fun! I joined the most popular group and can track my Moves against people from around the world. Really cool.The foot pod was easy to calibrate: I went to a local high school and ran 800m on the track to set it up. Then I dialed it in more completely on a 7 mile run, so I'm confident the information is accurate. While this watch doesn't have a GPS capability, the Movescount Mobile App will use GPS if you want to do that. I loaded it on my iPhone and can post new moves and review my workouts while I'm away from my laptop.Summary: excellent watch, great price, lots of customization options and fantastic connectivity. I've only been using it for 4 days but I'm confident this will become an indispensable part of my fitness program. Highly recommended.

I like this watch, a lot, but when I saw the color on the web I fall in love (orange), when the watch arrived, it is more like a red color, so I was a little dissapointed...
